This item is well made and is very easy to clean. This is a good size for my Ragamuffin as the opening is wider than the smaller cat version. This also allows Grumpy to eat in peace as Marvin is always trying to steal his food.
Best bowl I have found! The bowls sit just high enough that the cats look comfortable eating. The raised sided are keeping the food crumbles off the floor! My cats tend to eat outside the bowl and those cat morsels are like stepping on Legos! I have had this bowl a couple of weeks and have only had 1 - 2 kibbles outside the feeder.
This is well made, and thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, my dogs were afraid of it and nothing I did made any difference. I think the reach from the edge to the bowls caused their chests to touch the edge of the feeder, and it kept spooking them. So even though I really like this concept, the dogs have the last word, and I am reluctantly returning this item.
It works well and keeps my cat from ruining my floors. He would splash all the water out of ceramic bowls and drag lighter water bowls across the room spilling along the way and leave large puddles of water at least two or three times a day. I'm not happy about the price, but it's a lot cheaper than fixing water damage.
Bowls do a good job of containing water splashes. Dog was reluctant to eat from it at first, but got accustomed to it after a few days. Cats ate from theirs more readily.
The Product is Great Quality with No Mess! It works well for my 3 different size Cats.
I love it, my cat can't play in the water bowl anymore and I have not had a spill since.
Yes we would recommend this to anyone, it's great! The problem we're having is that our three rescued kittens at the time, but now are a full year old are way too smart. Is there a bowl that would fit in place of the metal dishes for this. Our cats actually will pull up the metal dish and spill it. We need a heavier bowl to sit down in there perfectly. I actually used duck tape for a while, but they kept figuring out how to remove that too! I also duck taped the bottom piece to the upper piece only because they would pull that up too! They love the concept of it and so do we!! They just get bored at times I guess. We have plenty of toys, cat trees and etc to keep them active. Asking if it is possible to find bowls too heavy for them to lift out and heavy enough that they won't separate the top and bottom pieces?
I wanted it for a dog not a cat. It was to small. I should not be charged for another one for my dog.
The idea for this is amazing. But the bowls are kitten size, not medium to large cats. The bowls are very very tiny. The water would be gone very quickly. I wanted to love this, but it’s not feasible for me to refill the water a dozen times a day.
