I see that the bowls it comes with are stainless steel, but my cat won't drink water out of a metal bowl. Am I able to buy ceramic bowls to put in it, or does it have to be the original bowls?

This product isn't compatible with ceramic bowls.

Can you use the leg extensions on this model?

Each Neater Feeder leg extension is only compatible with its matching feeder—for example, the small leg extension is only compatible with the small feeder.

Easy to use!

I bought 2 of these - one for each cat - I have a 16 month old and a 10 week old. Both use them just fine! Kitten puts his paws in it for now but it works great

I bought 2 of these - one for each cat - I have a 16 month old and a 10 week old. Both use them just fine! Kitten puts his paws in it for now but it works great. Cleans up so easy. I saw a comment about taking it apart to clean it was really hard and I have no idea what they were talking about - you just take the top piece right off to wash the bottom/inside. Easy as can be! I use them for wet and dry food as they have a fountain for water.

My cat can’t flip it over like he has all the others.

Great at hiding rotten food

While this design looks great, it is hugely problematic. My cat spills food and water constantly and so at first I was impressed that there was no excess food sprinkled

While this design looks great, it is hugely problematic. My cat spills food and water constantly and so at first I was impressed that there was no excess food sprinkled around my kitchen floor. Until I realized the water she spilled was being collected in the underneath section and when food got in there, it would rot. Insects and bugs started living there. I had to clean it out daily (basically taking apart the whole feeder each morning when I would feed her). I do NOT recommend this item.

Love it!

This bowl has saved me! My cat was constantly flinging food around and trying to “bury” it, knocking over other bowls, breaking them, and making a mess in the process

This bowl has saved me! My cat was constantly flinging food around and trying to “bury” it, knocking over other bowls, breaking them, and making a mess in the process. He rarely tries to bury this one, and even when he does, he spends a lot less time trying. Really recommend trying it out if you’re struggling with a messy guy like I was!
