Plenty of room for a large cat

If your cat rides calmly in your current carrier they will be fine in this. It is made similar to a pop-up laundry hamper but w thicker cloth. The 2 zippered sections

If your cat rides calmly in your current carrier they will be fine in this. It is made similar to a pop-up laundry hamper but w thicker cloth. The 2 zippered sections have dual zippers which make it easy to slip your hand in to love on your cat and/or give treats. The large front zippered screen also has a solid panel that you can roll up and velcro out of the way for ventilation or to block distractions. Only one of the sides has a zippered screen panel. This side doesn't have a solid screen attached to it. I solved the distraction problem by draping a travel blanket over that side. The back and other side of the carrier are solid (no zippered panels). This gives you 2 ways to get your pet in the carrier and the dual zippers allow you to make those openings as large or small as needed. The bottom of the carrier is cloth and has no padding but since the carrier is sitting on the backseat of our truck it is soft enough. I put in my cat's favorite blanket and he was fine. Even though this has handles to make carrying easy, I wouldn't recommend actually carrying an adult cat in it. My cat doesn't particularly love traveling, but this carrier allows him room to lay down and spread out as well as sit up and walk around. We are both happier travelers now.

This was a very nice cage for a cat. It claims to hold up to 30 lbs but it just didn't seem sturdy enough for my big boy, especially the bottom. I decided to keep the carrier that I already have (also ordered from Chewy) but my only disappointment with that one is that it doesn't have handles to carry it. So gave the new one to one of my neighbors who has 3 cats and she was very happy.

Cage too difficult and dangerous

It snapped open with more force than I anticipated and bounced out of my hands. Because of the size it could have damaged things in the area. Now it’s open and

It snapped open with more force than I anticipated and bounced out of my hands. Because of the size it could have damaged things in the area. Now it’s open and I’m not able to fold it back up. I will say one good thing. The cats were not afraid of it. One went inside even though I had not fully unzipped the opening.
