Neo-Predef with Tetracaine is a combination of three drugs: neomycin, isoflupredone, and tetracaine. Neomycin is an antibiotic, isoflupredone is a corticosteroid, and tetracaine is a topical anesthetic. This combination of the three active ingredients work together at the site of infection or wound to kill bacteria, provide anesthetic relief, and to decrease inflammation. Isoflupredone has a potent anti-inflammatory effect and works blocking the production of substances that trigger allergic and inflammatory actions. Tetracaine has a numbing effect on the nerves in the area applied, to reduce discomfort.
