Worked ok, but description is misleading.
By Michael on Nov 6, 2020
First, when ordering through the mobile app, the description for this is the same across the three Nerf Dog products, and the only reference past that is the size of the gun. The description implies that all of them shoot tennis balls. I ordered the smallest one due to how far it stated it would launch the balls ( I didn't want to be shooting tennis balls into my neighbors yards). The blaster arrived, and not only is the unit small, but the balls were miniature tennis balls. We gave it a shot, and unfortunately our normal sized dogs destroyed the balls rather quickly. So, into the pile of unused dog toys it goes. Another note, if your yard has dirt, which will get picked up by the balls covered First, when ordering through the mobile app, the description for this is the same across the three Nerf Dog products, and the only reference past that is the size of the gun. This caused the blaster to jam repeatedly. … more

Great in Theory, but doesn't last long
By LogansDog on Oct 25, 2020
My son for his birthday wanted toys to play with his dog and this was one he chose. It worked great for the first few times and after some dirt was introduced off the tennis balls, the blaster started becoming difficult to operate. My son is small for his age and he thought it was so much fun to fire off such a HUGE blaster (like Marty on Pirates of the Carribbean), but it's so tough to pull the loader (big orange slider on top) and trigger now that he hates the thing. Even the adults have issues with it. When it works, it fires the balls well and quite a good distance if aimed correctly. Wish it wouldn't have gone down hill so fast! The Dogs and Kids love it, but both get so frustrated when My son for his birthday wanted toys to play with his dog and this was one he chose. Good concept; good for small yard
By syrena on Jan 7, 2021
I like the concept of this a lot but when I used it my dog did not like it. Also I don’t feel it went very far. We also have the Chuck it stick and I was able to throw that farther then this gun. If you have a small space/yard this would be good for you; not good for me as I take my dog to the park to play.

Works well.
By Lori on Dec 13, 2020
Got this to exercise our 5 month old German shepherd puppy. It works well for him. Just be careful with the nerf ball that comes with the launcher. He had it crushed in a matter of minutes and was trying to pull pieces of rubber off it. Fortunately tennis balls fit perfectly in the launcher.

was nice while it worked
By Demi on Nov 27, 2020
I was really excited to get this as it would save my moms shoulder from throwing but once we got it it only worked for about 2 maybe 3 weeks and then it stopped working. I understand wear and tear but this was barely used, maybe 4 throws a day? So we’re disappointed to say the least

Nerf lagging
By Sidetracked on Jan 15, 2021
This was my second one within a few months. They are not like other nerf products. The gun jams all the time & just stops working. Very frustrating when you have 2 fur babies looking at you wanting their balls.

Not as awesome as I’d hope
By picky on Dec 9, 2020
This gun only launches the ball about 20ft at best, I can throw the ball further by hand. Not only that but after a few fires the trigger gets dirt in it, and become extremely difficult to pull all the way back.

Don't Bother, Waste of Money
By CheaplyMade on Nov 9, 2020
Broke in a week's time. Trigger jams and no longer launches ball. This was our second ball blaster, first one broke after limited use as well. We figured 1st was just a lemon since my children's nerf guns held up well. Great idea, my dog loved and was so excited. I also complained to Nerf customer service and have not heard back as of yet.

Does not launch balls 50 feet
By DHann on Dec 4, 2020
I was lucky to get this thing to send a ball 10 feet and nowhere near 50 feet. Maybe I'm doing it wrong? Just feels cheap and underwhelming compared to me just taking the ball and throwing it myself.
