Daisy was stoked to get this chew bone! It is a touch heavy, don't let your dog drop it on your toes. Also Daisy wants to play with it more than chew but it does roll well enough. It ought to stand up to her destructive proclivities when she finally decides it is time to tear it up.
I have 2 aggressive chewers. They play with this toy constantly & have not been able to destroy it.
My 8 month laberdoodle destroyed this “ultra tough” bone in two days. Pieces coming off and he was just doing normal chewing.
Stanley really likes this toy. So far it’s held up but he does tend to chew his toys up.
I just got this delivered ten mins ago. My Boston has already done this to it. Do NOT recommend for heavy chewers. Wish I could return it. The Kong bone and Chuck It stick have held up better so far.
My dog tears up his toys on the regular so I know where I get one that he likes and cannot destroy it’s definitely a reason for 5 rating. It’s a good toy for fetch but it is a bit hard so be careful where you are throwing it to.
This Nerf Silcone toy is superb! My Pittie is a destructive chewer! She has had this for a week, and has been chewing it day in and day out. A couple of teeth marks are showing, but that’s it. Nerf needs to make many more toys like this!!!!!
This the kind of bone I like to buy for my aging dog. It is soft enough for him to chew, but I didn't see any other choices that were larger/thicker to buy from Chewy. It is what I want, it is just too thin/small for my large dog. Doesn't last long enough.
Did not work for our dogs! They chewed pieces off within 5 minutes. We have other toys made for power chewers that have held up.
My shepherds really like this one. They haven't torn it up as they did the kongs.
