Not Weather Proof. Read before Purchasign

We have a few, 4 actually, kitties that room around our corner area - all belong to a neighbor, so we all watch out for them. About 3-months ago, a new kitty showed up. Very scared and clearly not used to being outside. We think maybe someone moved and left him behind. He's older. Blind in one eye, skittish, but a sweetheart. Since he frequented our house, we started feeding him No idea where he hides, but when the cold weather arrived, he was clearly struggling but still comes out, rain or snow, to get food, so we decided to buy him the New Age Pet House. I give A+ for ease of assembling. It took 5 min to assemble. Before assembling, we used huge sheets of Styrofoam that was inside boxes of recent orders and carved out pieces to attach to the walls, floor and roof. Glued the pieces on. Then we cut out a Mylar camping blanket and a wool moving blanket, used double sided Velcro to attach to the sides, roof and floor so they were easily removable when it gets warm, assembled it, put in a self-heating pet pillow, and he was ready to go. We get temps down to negatives with blustering wind so we wanted his house to be warm because we don't have a place to put the house that's not in the elements. We put the house by the privacy fence. He went in the first day. Yay! Problem, that afternoon, it started to rain. Not a hard rain, but a steady rain. After about an hour, kitty got out of the house, even though it was raining, and went wherever he goes. We went to check on the house while it was still raining. House was full of water coming in from the 'front' door. Total and complete waste of money and time. Do not buy this unless you have someplace you can put it that it will be out of the elements because it is not rain proof. Kitty hasn't gotten back in the house since that first day. Total and complete waste.

This cat house is perfect for our needs. The price was excellent for this very solid and well constructed cat house. Super easy to put together. We used the foam the house was packed in to line the inside of the house for extra warmth and then put a self warming cat pad also purchased from Chewy inside. I highly recommend this product and the fetal cats we care for are well protected and safe in this cat house since it has two entrance/exits.

happy that its plastic ,not cheap wood.

i had to insulate the inside of it, which took longer than putting it together. but overall, its a good product, would buy again if needed. one of my 2 feral cats

i had to insulate the inside of it, which took longer than putting it together. but overall, its a good product, would buy again if needed. one of my 2 feral cats really likes it, after i put in straw. my other feral cat is still testing it out. I reallly like that it has a slanted roof and legs.

Ease of assembly and the material it is made from. I was also able to use the packing material to add additional insulation to the interior. Since we intervened in these three little lives, and began feeding them and providing them this excellent shelter, our three little charges are gaining weight, sleeping in the shelter at night when it gets very cold and are gradually allowing us to get closer to them.

Purrfect House for outside stray cats

It is very well made and keeps the outside strays warm. Our inside cats gave it purrs of approval before we placed it in sheltered spot on our covered porch.

Good packaging; easy assembly

The panels are relatively sturdy heavy molded plastic. We live in PNW with lots of rain and it appears to be a good fit with our climate. There are no assembly directions

The panels are relatively sturdy heavy molded plastic. We live in PNW with lots of rain and it appears to be a good fit with our climate. There are no assembly directions included, so you need to study the picture online. Parts were all there and includes a tool to tighten the screws which I didn't notice until half way through. Make sure you find that tool in the package of screws, makes it much easier. Few pieces to put together. Did it by myself in about 20 minutes.

There is a stray cat that has started to favor our yard, we decided to get this cat house and I'm so happy with it!! It truly was very easy to assemble (took less than 10 minutes) but it is still quite sturdy. We put it outside and saw the cat go inside it right away, so I guess she approves! It's very imporant too to have the dual entrance/exit option for stray cats for their safety if another animal were to try and go in, which is why I chose this option over the smaller version from this brand.
