This variety contains approximately 0.6% Phosphorus content on an as fed basis (0.6% on a dry matter basis), 31% Protein content on an as fed basis (34% on a dry matter basis), 14% Fat content on an as fed basis (15% on a dry matter basis) and 36% Carbohydrate content on an as fed basis (39% on a dry matter basis).

What country do the ingredients come from? Where is it manufactured?

All of their ingredients are sourced from North America with the exception of the pasture raised lamb and grass-fed venison which is sourced from Australia and New Zealand (from EU certified plants). This formula is produced in Ontario, Canada

I noticed that one of the main ingredients is Tomato, isn't that toxic to cats?

My sweet kitty has had trouble keeping dry food down, but also keeping weight only eating wet food. These pellets are the perfect way for her to gain a healthy weight while mainly eating canned pate’s. They pellets are small enough that even if she can’t chew them completely, she will not throw them up. I love it, so worth it especially for older kitties!!!!

Our other cats have 'special needs' so I felt our original older boy was being left out of the 'good stuff' and bought this food for him. Took awhile for him to accept it (mixed with his old food), but ultimately he's decided it's good. Definitely gives him a soft and smooth coat, but it's super expensive compared to other dry cat foods.

Grain free, no icky fillers like chicken meal, etc. As "clean" as I could find. Francis was a stray that came to me 13 years ago as a young adult cat. For years, he weighed 13 pounds but lost a great deal of weight a couple of years ago for no reason that the vet could fjnd. He's finicky about dry food and I wanted to give him the best that I could find since he refused to eat dry food. He really likes this food and I really like the ingredients. The smell of meat is obvious when the package is opened.

I always leave a bowl out with her fresh water as she does not pig out...she sort of noshes thru out the day. I like the ingredients, seems very healthy. She only eats pate style wet food - and this small kibble is perfect for her as she won't eat larger kibble. I should really check into if NOW makes a pate for cats. May be worth a try. I live in Fort Lauderdale and Chewy delivers in 1 day. Best service ever - truly!
