is there a reason this is only for dogs?

Nulo’s oil supplement for dogs contains ingredients that are safe for cats to consume, however, the dosage guidelines are optimized based on the body weight of dogs. For best results, we recommend only using the Omega 3-6-9 Oil for the intended species designated on the labels.

The ratio of the oils in our Omega 3-6-9 Oil Blend is 4:4:1, with the following guaranteed minimums: 30.0% Omega-9 fatty acids, 30.0% Omega-6 fatty acids, and 7.5% Omega-3 fatty acids.

Does this need to be refrigerated after opening?

It is recommended to store in a cool, dry, place away from direct sunlight and ensuring that the pump is securely fastened to the bottle base between uses. Once the bottle has been opened, the oil should be used within 3 months for optimal freshness.

Cleared up dry flaky skin!

Our pup seemed to struggle with a minor skin issue - he would get little bits of dry flaky skin randomly all over his body, though it seemed to not bother him. Then,

Our pup seemed to struggle with a minor skin issue - he would get little bits of dry flaky skin randomly all over his body, though it seemed to not bother him. Then, one year he started showing signs of allergies - lots of itching (but no fleas or anything). We started giving him a pump of this with his dinner and the itching decreased and no more dry flaky skin. Switching his food to one meant for sensitive skin and stomach cleared up the rest of the itching. This product is easy to use and add to food, and the dog doesn't mind the taste. Great addition!
