This food is good for occasional feedings. I don’t love the ingredients, but I’ve seen much worse. My cats seemed to really enjoy eating it, however. I generally try to stick to a whole prey diet, but I don’t mind having my cats try new food from time to time. There do appear to be a lot of grains in this food, which I don’t think cats eat a lot of in the wild (or, perhaps, they get it inadvertently from the prey they eat), but it hasn’t caused my cats any digestive distress, so I’m happy. I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 because the ingredients could be better, in my opinion, but I didn’t want to give it too few stars because I knew the ingredients when I bought it. That was a choice I made and isn’t the fault of the food or company who makes it. I’m okay using this food as an occasional substitution and my cats enjoy it too.

Waited several days for the 5 cats to try this food, they didn’t seem interested in it. After a few days 3 cats sampled it, 2 cats never tried it. Had great hopes

Waited several days for the 5 cats to try this food, they didn’t seem interested in it. After a few days 3 cats sampled it, 2 cats never tried it. Had great hopes for this food as my cats are between 13 - 19 years old so the very small pieces might be easier to eat and the ingredients better than most foods. It was met with a lukewarm to meh response from the feline herd. Pros: Tiny pieces of kibble would appeal to small kittens and cats alike, those just starting dry food to those without many teeth left. Good ingredients, not overly smelly Cons: My cats in general didn’t seem to be excited by it.

Messy cleanup if it happens to spill. They roll everywhere. If your kitty likes or needs small kibble, this is for you.

The kibble on this food is small which my cats adore! They like the smaller kibble foods and I’ve been searching for a quality food that they will eat. Nulo Prowess hit the mark and my cats attack the bag before I can even get it open. It’s their new favorite and they gobble it up. It does contain pea protein which is mildly worrisome but until I can find a food that they will actually eat as enthusiastically as this one - it’s a keeper.

I opened the bag and all my babies wanted to see. They love hearing a new bag of food being opened. I really like the TINY kibble. My kitties ranging from 1 year to 12 years all tried it. Most ate it, but a few wasn't impressed. None of them went crazy for it. Yes they would eat it, but not a favorite. I probably would not purchase this for my babies. I know Nulo is a good brand, but my kitties said "pass"...

We have five kitties. Three are seniors and two are 1 1/2 years old. Four of these rascals prefer dry food. I did a taste test between this product and the one they have been eating for over a year. When given the choice, three of the four dry food eaters have chosen this product. The one that did not gave it a try and moved on. I love that this product is good for both adult cats and young kitties. You don’t find that combination very often. It looks like a winner!

The good: very agreeable for my cats' stomaches. I have some cats with VERY sensitive stomachs, so I really have to watch what I feed them when it comes to new dry foods. This was agreeable for them. Also, the pieces are super tiny which makes it easy for cats to eat. The meh: I feel like the protein content could be higher to be honest with you. But it worked for my cats.

New products from Nulo I tried this one and another one, both do not seem to be making my cats happy as dry food container won’t be empty.
