For a 60lb bulldog who has been on Dasuquin with MSM for large dogs for years. She’s having some joint issues would I be better to order Senior S/M or Large?

Weight range for one chew

Answer by ChewySep 17, 2025
The large breed formula recommends giving a dog 60-120lbs 2 chews for the initial 4-6 weeks and then 1 chew after. The small and medium breed formula advises giving a dog 10-29lbs 1 chewy for the first 4 to 6 weeks and then 1 at the end of the day, after the initial period. This formula also recommends giving dogs 30-59lbs 2 chews for the initial 4-6 weeks and then 1 chewy after.

We have given our dog Dasuquin for a long time to help with her joints. Now that she's older and has issues with her jaw, we decided to try the ones for senior dogs. These are hard as rocks- they were even harder for her to chew than the original version of the item. At this price we should be completely satisfied- I am not. Very disappointed.

Good substitute

Unfortunately, the Nutramax I use is ONLY AVAIL thru veternarians. But, this is a good substitute that helps my dogs joints and hips. Definitely a good product
