I thought dogs couldn't have avocado?

Avocado Soybean Unsaponifiables, known as ASU, are considered a vegetable extract that combines one-third avocado oil with two-thirds soybean oil. Avocado oil is a risk-free way to give your dog the benefits of this fruit. The confusion arises from the fact that avocados contain a substance called persin. Persin is a substance found in the avocado pit, skin, bark, and leaves of certain varieties.

Do you give one in the morning and one at night during the first 4 weeks or do you give the 2 chews at one time daily?

A little dry, dog doesn't like them.

Our dog's picky and doesn't like these quite expensive supplements. Rather than the hassle of sending them back I'll donate them to someone with a large old dog

Not the shape or taste of previous product - dog refusing to eat it!

Unfortunately they seem to have changed the formula of these joint chewables. The previous packs were a sort of cone shape, these are square-ish like pillows. My dog is refusing to eat the new ones, while the previous ones he'd beg for like treats. These, even when I break them into 4 tiny pieces and mix with his royal canin kibble, he will literally spit them out all over the house, once he realizes he accidentally ate one from his bowl.

Effective

The supplement helped her hip pain, but it gave her stomach issues. So we had to discontinue it bc she was vomiting after she ate it even though we scaled the dosage

Easy on the tummy and time to play

I have tried a number of supplements for my dogs, hip arthritis. They worked, but this is the only one to not upset his tummy. It makes sitting next to him a lot
