Very helpful.

Chewy is always so easy to work with. I don't buy as much as I used to now that I only have one dog and she is on a strict diet for her kidneys. I was just a few dollars short of free shipping and didn't have anything else I could buy since my girl is not allowed many treats anymore. Customer service was kind enough to waive the shipping fee. I always like dealing with Chewy.

we think it works!

Our lab has a sensitive stomach. We do not to feed him anything other than his dog food (hills science diet for sensitive stomach) and good limited treats that we carefully analyze... low in fat etc. We give him this probiotic recommended by our vet daily. We think it definitely helps to keep him regular with no intestinal upsets (diarrhea).

So far so good for my 2 babies

I needed new probiotics for 2 of my dogs. They both have digestive issues and have had serious problems with diarrhea and vomiting. One has pancreatitis and is on a low-fat diet. The other has inflammatory bowel disease and is on a strict hydrolyzed diet. They have both been on Purina Fortiflora but it is too expensive at $1 a packet for each dog daily and it contains flavoring and about 10% fat. Proviable is about half the price of Purina and as my vet recommended it as a good alternative to Purina, I switched. I started the dog with IBD on it first. It is flavorless, which she needed due to the IBD, and she has no issues eating it, but I do break open the capsules and mix the powder with a bit of water along with her food. It has definitely helped with her gassiness. At 3 pounds, she could clear a room for sure! I then started the one with pancreatitis on it, also sprinkling the contents on her food along with water. Both are tolerating it well so far and haven’t had any issues with diarrhea or vomiting since being on this. Let’s hope that trend continues.

Works with one dose!

I keep Proviable in stock at my house! I was introduced to Proviable when one of my dogs had horrible diarrhea. She went to the emergency vet because she also had a fever. Instead of prescribing Flagyl which is the "old school" go-to for diarrhea, she prescribed Proviable Paste/Capsule. I was concerned that it wouldn't work. BUT IT DID AND FAST! She regained her appetite and was good in no time. NOW, I keep the paste and the capsules ready to use. If any of my dogs have a bad or loose poop, I give one and by the next poop, it is better than normal. I am so happy this product works! Its a lifesaver getting my pups back on track.

solid shapely poos

This product is great. It helps keep my Pomeranian regular and prevents diarrhea. He is really picky about his food so sprinkling anything on top of his dinner is out of the question, like we have tried with other probiotics. I just pop one of these capsules in some cheese and he is happy to get a “treat”.

Capsules are brittle

I like this product well enough. Ingredients seem pretty good. But the capsules are very brittle and crack very easily. Sometimes they crack just getting them out of the packaging. Other times they crack as I open them to sprinkle the powder onto my cats' food (because it's easier to give it to them this way than to pill them).

Haven't seen a big improvement yet but hoping

I have 2 sister cats that have had diarrhea their entire lives. They are now 2 yrs. old. I have tried probiotics forever but tried this because it adds prebiotics. I'm an ex vet tech so I know this is the best route to go. I'm still hoping it will kick in and work. I have to give the capsule by mouth because if I sprinkle it on their food they won't eat it. They get wormed every 3 mos. so it's not worms, just a sensitive tummy. They also won't eat pumpkin. The prior probiotic plus this new one has helped just not stopped their problem. Fingers crossed!

Fed Ex left this on the street

Order was fine. Fed Ex left the box leaning against our mailbox next to the street. I was at home and saw 3 cars slow down to check the box before I could get to it. All previous deliveries were left on our front stoop. Not happy with the delivery - not Chewey’s fault.

Perfect for my dog

My dog was diagnosed with Hemoragic Bowel Disease in October. The vet gave him Nutramax Proviable, and we are continuing to do so. He has had no intestinal issues since. I break the capsule and pour it into yogurt. It’s tasteless, so he thinks he’s getting a treat every day!

This probiotic helps our dog's digestion

Our dog has digestive issues, and his vet added this to his feeding regimen during a very difficult time. I was pleased to see that this is available from Chewy without a prescription. Our boy gets this on his breakfast every day. I just open the capsule and sprinkle it on his food.
