Our vet recommended this specific supplement for our arthritic girlie, and after using it for a few months, I would say it’s helping. Our girl is more active and playful than she’s ever been. However, the packaging is awful. It was annoying when we started buying this supplement. We had to set the bottle in a glass because the leaking was inevitable after use, but the bottle has been redesigned and it's 10 times worse. Getting the oil into a measuring device is painful, and it still leaks! Please, please put this supplement into a bottle with a dropper.

Recommended by vet for cats with arthritis (can help eyes and coat also). After one or two samples (with Churu also in the bowl), Roo decided it was GOOD stuff. She licks the bowl clean every time and is very possessive over it, lol. When I offer her Churu now (cat lovers know how addictive that is), she looks at me waiting for the fish oil! I suspect not every cat would like it but, it's been a success for this girl. Does it work? Not sure we really know but, it's not that expensive and no drawbacks.

I have 2 cats, one that is very picky and one that will eat anything. Neither one of them would touch this product. Didn't matter how I tried to hide it in their food. I had to thoroughly clean their bowls after for them to eat their food without it. I gave it 1 star rating because it made me rate it

After a little while of getting this added to his food, he wouldn't eat without it! This is a cat who likes his food, so that was quite a surprise. I feed him small amounts at a time, and he's only supposed to get one tiny measured scoop of oil a day, so I apply just a few drops each time he gets a little wet food, to make the oil last all day.

The 4 ounce bottles with the flip spout are so much better than the big tall bottles (12 ounce ?) of salmon oil. Small bottle, fits in fridge easily. Yes oil still sneaks out of the neck, but I can wrap the bottle in a paper towel with rubber bands. The BIG bottle made a BIG mess and by the time it was getting low my cat refused it or threw up - had gone RANCID???

My vet wanted my two 17 year old cats to start taking this. I was skeptical being how fussy cats are, but to my surprise they actually eat their food up when I put this in. The scoop holds more liquid than I would use at one feeding, so I just add some drops at each feeding throughout the day.

Packaging is absolutely horrible

The ingredients and Omega-3 content seem adequate, but our cats hate the smell and refuse to eat the food. Moreover, the bottle is the dealbreaker - oil drips down

The ingredients and Omega-3 content seem adequate, but our cats hate the smell and refuse to eat the food. Moreover, the bottle is the dealbreaker - oil drips down the side of the container, creates a huge mess every time, and wastes the oil. Will not repurchase because of that.

Made a BIG difference

My cat was over grooming herself and causing hair loss. Her veterinarian recommended this product and it has worked wonders! She loves the taste and looks forward

Fish oil

It seems to be helping with my cats arthritis. I wish they could design these bottles, so they didn't drip down the bottle, though.

I bought this fish oil because it has good reviews but it smells kinda weird to me, not like fish oil but more like a veg oil, the ingredients do list veg oil so I’m wondering what kind it is. It reminds me of flaxseed oil but I’m not sure at all, I wish it smelled more like fish so the smell and taste matched his fancy feast canned fish wet food. My cat can smell it in his food and won’t eat it that way. The expiration date is 2 years away and the ingredients list a preservative so I guess I’ll try to use it by putting a little on his front leg because I think he will lick it off to get clean. I hope he gets some benefits from it.
