Great Food, great price

This is my adult cat's main dry food, and I just ordered the economical 28 pound bag for the first time. Unfortunately, it doesn't come in a resealable bag, so I needed to repackage it into separate smaller bags (fortunately, I had saved up a couple of zippered empties from past orders). My cat's happy.

I was a big fan of Nutro MaxiCat food - our cats loved it and turned their nose up at other dry kibble. I was sad when they discontinued it, and couldn't seem to find a kibble our cats like - until I tried the Nutro replacement. Two of our cats go crazy for this stuff. The third likes it as well - but is more moderated in her preference - predictable, since she was always a wet food snob.

Yes, switching my two picky indoor cats to this dry food was a good choice...this is not always the case with those two cats of mine. My Maine Coon cannot tolerate fish in his foods (major digestive issues) so I had to comb through the food offerings for fish-free cat food. I'm delighted to discover they both like this one, even after I mixed it half-and-half with Nutro's Hairball Control Chicken & Brown Rice dry food. The cat-kids are happy and their "mom" is happy!

Our 7 year old cat loves this food. She will eat nothing else. We have tried to get her to eat other foods even wet food she will not. We have even tried her in the senior brand of this same food and no dice. So this is what she loves and eats.

After many test and visits to the vet I did some research and came across this brand. My cat has a lot of food sensitivities. He would have blood in his stool and have severe diarrhea with every food the vet recommended. He has been on this for three years now. Haven’t had any problems. He loves it. And I do too.

My picky cats love this brand so much! My Siamese in particular loves it. Her mouth is very small, is a perfect size for her and any other Siamese specific food- she hates. This is the only food she will eat.

The cats who own me -- currently seven in number, ranging in age from 15 years to 4 months -- all eat their Nutro dry cat food with gusto. (The little guy gets a kitten formula also.) All are in the best of health and love what they're eating. Nutro's quality is reliably excellent and the product is fairly priced. The cats and I are all delighted with it.

Made Cats Sick

When I opened the bag of cat food it really didn't have any smell. When I poured it into a container it appeared grey which bothered me. I have three dogs and four cats so I go through a lot of food! I have never seen "grey" dog or cat food. Since I had not tried Nutro before I figured maybe this was different. The next morning I came downstairs and the cats had thrown-up this food all over my counters. Needless to say I will be returning this!!

I have 5 cats, 2 adults and 3 kittens. My kittens aren't interested in this food. I don't know if it's the food itself, or the fact that the pieces are larger. They like the smaller American Journey kibble. However, my VERY picky adults love this food, so I guess I'm just stuck buying both, LOL! Tired of looking for a healthy brand that all 5 will eat. The struggle is real y'all! I like the ingredients and quality of this food and the price is very reasonable!
