Does the medium hedgehog (ie: 9", was large) have grunt or squeeky sound?

A squeaker is built into the Small and Medium Hedgehogz, but in sizes Large to Extra-Large, there’s a grunting squeaker and jingle ball for added fun.

I am interested in possibly buying a stuffed hedgehog for a Golden Retriever. What size would you recommend?

Breeds like Golden Retrievers can vary in size, which makes it hard to predict what the best size for each breed would be. We recommend measuring your dog's snout, or current toys that they enjoy and comparing those to the dimensions of the 4 different hedgehog sizes.

Fell Apart Immediately

The toy was destroyed in two minutes by a dog who never destoys her toys. My dog is a mini Aussie, not even 20 pounds soaking wet and not overly aggressive with

The toy was destroyed in two minutes by a dog who never destoys her toys. My dog is a mini Aussie, not even 20 pounds soaking wet and not overly aggressive with her plush animals. This is a potential choking/obstruction hazard because it's so poorly made. The midseam ripped open exposing the stuffing and the faux fur was easily ripped off by a half pint dog almost as soon as she started playing with it

My senior rescue pup goes nuts for this one!

The honking/grunting type noise this makes (instead of the usual squeaking noises dog toys usually make) gets my old senior boy all excited and he goes nuts over

The honking/grunting type noise this makes (instead of the usual squeaking noises dog toys usually make) gets my old senior boy all excited and he goes nuts over this one! I used to have a small one like this many years ago with another dog that has since passed and he loved it too. I wish they made all sizes of this toy with the grunting noise instead of a squeaker! The main issue though is that it gets ripped open easily. My puppy rips it open quickly and my senior dog will eventually but it takes him a bit longer. If it only lasted longer, it would be a 5 star item but it just isn't super durable as I'd like. Still a fun toy that my pups do like...while it lasts.

Dangerous filling

The filling in this toy had a squeaker and cotton filling that was separated...your typical filling in dogs toys. Then there was a seperate baggie with a breathing

The filling in this toy had a squeaker and cotton filling that was separated...your typical filling in dogs toys. Then there was a seperate baggie with a breathing tube and tiny pieces of plastic all inside the bag. I have NEVER seen anything like this in any dogs toys. Be careful what you get your dogs as they can choke on this. This was absolutely not ok and dangerous for my dog. She could've choked and died on the tiny pieces of plastic and why was there a breathing tube in there?

Totally destroyed in less on 60 min by my husky.

Cute toy but very fragile. My husky completely destroyed this toy in less than an hour. I didn’t even have time to remove it from the cardboard packaging before

Cute toy but very fragile. My husky completely destroyed this toy in less than an hour. I didn’t even have time to remove it from the cardboard packaging before it ended up in the trash. This may be good for a small gentle dog who will not test durability. Durability rating - very poor!

Well made!

Piper is an 8 month old Aussie who loves her hedgehog and the different sounds it makes. I did have to cut tags and felt from feet. She chewed one foot so much

Piper is an 8 month old Aussie who loves her hedgehog and the different sounds it makes. I did have to cut tags and felt from feet. She chewed one foot so much that the felt came off and opened the seam. I had to sew it back up. So now it looks like a 3 legged hedgehog, but he is still loved by my dog. Hopefully it will last a good long time.

Great grunting noise but poorly made

I loved the noise it made. Besides a squeaky noise it also had a grunting noise which I loved. The fur came off too easily and had many bald spots and then the stuffing

I loved the noise it made. Besides a squeaky noise it also had a grunting noise which I loved. The fur came off too easily and had many bald spots and then the stuffing started coming out. Then it went into the trash . She got it for Xmas and it didn’t make it to the New Year. My Phoenix’s loved it but now we’re back to the duck which holds up fine.

I had one of the bigger hedgehogs like this for a previous dog and she loved the weird grunt it made. I have a smaller dog now so I got the smaller size and was

I had one of the bigger hedgehogs like this for a previous dog and she loved the weird grunt it made. I have a smaller dog now so I got the smaller size and was disappointed that it has a regular squeaker in it. But I had to take it away from my dog because he was able to pull clumps of the fur out. It's not torn at all--he's just able to pluck out the fur.

Poor quality, choking hazard

Honestly really disappointed. Our mini Aussie is 11 weeks and loves plushie toys. After taking the toy out of the packaging, I squeezed it and was immediately poked

Honestly really disappointed. Our mini Aussie is 11 weeks and loves plushie toys. After taking the toy out of the packaging, I squeezed it and was immediately poked by 2 zip ties that were uncut on the inside of the toy. After cutting, I gave my pup the toy and realized the belly/bottom of the toy was losing its hair fairly easy. He was getting it stuck in his mouth so I unfortunately had to take the toy away. He really loves the different squeaker so we will find another toy that’s more durable.
