not-so-Invincible snake
My dog ripped into this snake upon arrival. An hour hasn't even gone by since I opened the box from Chewy, and the snake has been relieved of one of its squeakers. Looks like it will continue to be a toy of interest, which is why I'm not giving it 1 or 2 stars, but it is definitely "vincible." His tail points to the place on the snake he was angry at.
be prepared for mess
While there is no internal stuffing - any chewer will tear off the external furry stuff to get to the squeaker! The strings will get caught in their mouth too. Be prepared to clean up fur! This isn't as indestructible as you'd think either. 8 hours in and one squeaker is already out.
Cute but destructible
My 1.5 yr old golden LOVES stuffies and chewing on them. She likes to nib (continuously bite in tiny bites the exact same spot) until she can pull apart the fabric. We haven’t had a stuffie last more than a day in our house and this was no exception. Even with the tough fabric she tore right through it in less than 20 mins. She had fun with it though, and it was on sale when I bought it, so alls good. Just know it isn’t actually indescribable.
Perfect for 3 med/large dogs
We have a beagle, lab/hound mix and a bluetick coonhound - they love playing together with this particular toy. Got the largest available and its perfect for them to play tug of war! It gets noisy when each of them get a hold of a squeeker lol!
Not Shiba invincible
It lasted less than an hour before our 2 Shibas had this unraveled. By end of day 1 they had already ripped out 1 squeaker. It also leaves neon colored fuzz everywhere making a big mess.
Not worth the money
This toy is supposed to be durable and claims to continue squeaking even if punctured. After 15 minutes of play the seams between the squeakers pulled apart and one squeaker stopped squeaking. My 11 year old terrier is not much of a chewer but she gave the toy a death shake and it fell apart.
Buy the big one
Got this for our mini Doxie. It's huge and he absolutely loves it. Many squeakers to squeak. Made really well. He kills most toys the same day he gets them but this one is still in tact. Would buy again.
Tough and loud!
The old girl loves her new toy. It did, however, make an unplanned trip outside into the dirt, and it doesn’t clean up easily. I also kinda wish the squeakers each made a different sound, but Minnie doesn’t seem to mind.
It's okay
My dog had so much fun with this toy while it lasted! However, he destroyed it quickly. Plus, the fuzzy stuff came off really easily and would get caught in his throat. I thought I found another similar toy like this to replace it, but turns out it was also fuzzy and did the same thing.
Great toy
My dog loves it - makes a horrible squeaky noise and can be flipped around and shaken to her heart’s content.
