Not what I expected

Yuki (the bun) basically ignored it until it was in his way. It was not as nice as I could have hoped for either.

Cute but no

Super cute little idea, but way too expensive as I feel it could be made at home!

Wish it was cheaper

Honestly this is a decent base for making a little twig chew tree i just wish it was cheaper for what it is.

Treat tree

Awesome idea but my Guinea pigs pull the food too hard and pull the tree over and it falls apart. I need to find a way to keep it upright. I would not recommend

My rabbit loves this little thing and I love that it makes him have to work for his greens. It was easy to assemble and I like that you can choose how many apple sticks to put in. I found it sturdy enough to hold up to my rabbit yanking lettuce and treats off the sticks, but it was also easy to disassemble for storage by quickly taking the top off the base. This will definitely be in our rotation of enrichment toys

I really wanted to love this product. The guinea pigs enjoyed chewing the apple sticks and pulling them out of the holes. But that's where the pros stop. First, the product isn't weighted at all. It's very lightweight, which makes it extremely easy to tip. And with two cavvies trying to play with it at once, gets dangerous. I had flashbacks of my mom saying, "Be careful, you'll poke your eye out!" any time it would tip and the sticks would get close to hitting them in the face. Second, they started chewing the base, as guinea pigs will do. I know it says it's made of pet-safe wood, but this thing splinters like nobody's business! I had to pull a few splinters from my hand when I wasn't paying attention and grabbed it to reset the sticks. At that point, I took it out of their cage. My anxiety was giving me nightmares of a vet trip to extract splinters from their mouths. And even if that was maybe possible, or maybe an exaggerated fear, I still don't want to get splinters in my own hand!
