Is it ok for my guinea pig to be eating the stick part?

The Oxbow Enriched Life Timmy Pops Small Animal Chew Toy is made with safe, natural materials and are safe if inadvertently consumed while your pet chews and engages with the product. However, if you notice your little one actively and deliberately consuming the willow bundle, this is not expected and the product should be removed.

Is there any alfalfa hay in this product or is it only timothy hay?

This toy does not contain alfalfa hay. It is made from timothy hay, untreated apple sticks, and rice glue.

I got these to give my rabbit when I would be gone for long days, I call them his “peanut butter kong.” He’s addicted. He climbed my DRESSER to get to them. When he’s finished with it, he throws a temper tantrum until I get him a new one. He came up and closed my laptop while working. Yes, they’re messy and leave a pile of hay dust. But now, I fear what would happen to me if I stopped ordering them. He ran out earlier than I anticipated, and I woke up to him standing on my chest, clearly plotting my murder. Get them, but at your own risk.
