The ingredients/materials utilized in these products are safe to ingest. However, the product as a whole has not been formulated to be an item that is consumed in appreciable quantities. Rather, they are designed to be provided during a monitored time period in support of the natural chewing behavior of these animals for enrichment purposes. For these reasons, we do not recommend that they are consumed as a whole and as a regular part of your pet’s diet. If you find that your animal has consumed the item, we recommend that your pet is monitored for any abnormal behaviors or activity and contact a veterinarian if you have any concerns.

Does this product have any type of glue like non toxic white glue that was mentioned before in other products like this?

Not a Hit with My Bunny

I usually love Oxbow products, but this one just didn’t work for my rabbit, Remy. The Timothy Flowers were very hard, and I had to break them up with a butter knife

I usually love Oxbow products, but this one just didn’t work for my rabbit, Remy. The Timothy Flowers were very hard, and I had to break them up with a butter knife just to make them manageable which wasn’t the safest or easiest thing to do. Unfortunately, Remy wasn’t very interested in them even after breaking them up. In the future, I’ll be sticking with Oxbow’s hay, vitamins, and the Simple Rewards treat line, which he always enjoyed. Great brand, but this particular item didn’t work for us.
