Can adult rabbits have this feed?
Answer by hadanllaJul 31, 2021
A small amount in a while wont hurt, otherwise it should only be used on less thn 1 year or pregnant rabbits

Is there any reason this food is not sold in larger bags? I want to feed it to my English angora rabbit as his main source of pellets (he needs at least 17% protein for his whole life), and he LOVES this, but it is getting pretty expensive and I feel like I’m wasting a lot of packaging :(

At what age do you switch them to adult food.
Answer by ChewyOct 13, 2020
It is recommended to switch to the Oxbow Garden Select Adult Rabbit Food when your rabbit is over 1 year of age.

Can this food be used for a 7-8 week old baby bunny
Answer by ChewyApr 13, 2020
Crafted with an optimal blend of Timothy and alfalfa, this aromatic, enticing recipe is guaranteed to deliver complete and balanced nutrition to promote your pet’s growth, energy, pregnancy, and nursing needs.

Healthy Alternative & Yummy!

I mean, I assume it’s yummy. I haven’t personally tried any, but my bunnies liked it. I liked that it didn’t have too many fillers, especially molasses, in it. Not crazy about the barley and tomato pumice, but of all the options available on this site, this is the one with the least amount of fillers. Dark green color, fresh sweet smell.

Wrong food

I love the Garden Selects food, but I screwed up this time and bought Young rabbit food and instead of adult. So it was my fault.

Hay for my bunny

My bunny is very fussy on his hay. I tried This one with veggies and he can’t get enough of it.

I probably had bad luck + a picky bunny

I don't doubt that this is a fantastic product, but mine unfortunately came with 1 of the 3 bags ripped open and scattered everywhere in the shipping box. Equally unfortunately is the fact that my bunny hates eating this unless he absolutely has to. Ah well...

Only wish the bags were bigger

Great food. My bunnies are huge fans but I have to order 2 to 3 bags a month to keep up with these little pigs. They eat and drink non stop right now.

Older Bugs bunny likes this kind

My around 9 year old bunny likes this kind. He will eat more of it than the regular.

He LOVES it!

Initially he wouldn’t take it directly from my hand, had to mix it with his fresh greens and previous food. Now he’s eating it from my hand and his wall feeder!!

Great for growing rabbits!

My growing rabbit loves the stuff. He's already 5 months so he's digging on veggies now, and this 4 lb bag will last a long time as I'm not using as much. We do pellets in the late afternoon after his play time.

Baby Bun Must-Have

I have a young bun who loves these. She doesn't want to overeat them but she likes to snack on them throughout the day.
