Terrible quality for the price

I'm very disappointed with the quality of this hay lately. I pay more for this box than buying the bags because it's supposed to be better quality. All of the bags

I'm very disappointed with the quality of this hay lately. I pay more for this box than buying the bags because it's supposed to be better quality. All of the bags in my box were FILLED with dust and tiny strands of hay. There wasn't a single long thick strand. My rabbits won't touch it at all so now I have a $30 box going to waste. Quality control needs to be way better than it is oxbow.

I have been a huge fan of all things oxbow forever, recently the quality of this hay has decreased a lot, or I’ve just been unlucky and have gotten bad batches, it’s small pieces I’m talking like dust at this point. Which really stinks because my bunny loves this hay but I’m afraid it’s going to cause him harm by breathing these small pieces in. It’s barely even hay at this point. I hope it improves I really do

I looked for a while for a good quality hay for my boy and this is the one. I’ve used this hay for over a year and I will continue to use it. It is such good quality,

The Oxbow Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay is just as it says it is, crunchy. This is something that is very important for the health of my young Chinchilla,

The Oxbow Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay is just as it says it is, crunchy. This is something that is very important for the health of my young Chinchilla, but helps with his dental care as well. As many may not be aware of, a Chinchilla's teeth are ever growing. This is necessary, otherwise after a few years their teeth would be worn down to nubs and they wouldn't have anything to eat with. That said, it is also necessary because they are always growing to give the animal something that will keep their teeth at a decent level; otherwise they can have dental issues. The Oxbow Prime Cut Hearty & Crunchy Timothy Hay achieves that. It's always fresh and well packaged.

Had more fines (crumbs) than expected for crunchy hay. Very few seed heads. Box supposed to be feeder/toynwith punch outs however states to take away from pet if

Had more fines (crumbs) than expected for crunchy hay. Very few seed heads. Box supposed to be feeder/toynwith punch outs however states to take away from pet if they try to eat the box. I assume because of shiny paper outer layer of box. Competitor’s product is superior. Think about plain brown box with vegetable dyes.
