Are the slots wide enough for pine pellet litter to go through?

We are unable to comment on every brand of pine litter due to a lack of specific information. However, Paco & Pepper strongly believe that the pellet litter will not be too large to pass through our scoop, as it features relatively wide slots designed for effectiveness. Additionally, Paco & Pepper have not received any complaints regarding the scoop’s narrowness.

Didn't last a month before breaking

This looked to be pretty sturdy online. Unfortunately when it came the metal was very flexible and I questioned the quality. We have multiple cats and I was looking for a sturdy, well made scooper to use daily for their commode. Waited about a week after it arrived before giving it a shot. It lasted maybe 3 weeks amd the handle broke off. Thankfully I had not tossed out my better made scooper and was still able to clean the litter boxes that day. Very disappointing, I would not recommend for clumping litter. It may be good for non clumping however

I rarely write online reviews and certainly didn't expect to write one for a cat box scoop, but this product is soooo great. As a lifelong cat mama and frequent cat-sitter, I have met a lot of scoops over the years and didn't realize it was possible to improve upon the design so much. The wire tines are sturdy, stay clean, and are spaced just wide enough apart so they get everything but don't stir up a crazy cloud of litter and dust--they just pick up what needs to be picked up, and the litter stays nicely where it belongs. Highly recommend!

Originally, I was looking for a base holder for the Van Ness Stainless Steel Cat Litter Scoop, but saw that this product was cheaper than a base on its own, so i decided to try it out. I've been using Okocat Mini Pellets Unscented Clumping Wood Cat Litter for over a year now, and have been looking for a scoop that would easily sift out unsoiled pellets from the clumps. Not only does this scoop have gaps perfect for pellets, it make the process so much faster. I also appreciate the wood handle as it makes the scoop lighter and more comfortable to hold (especially when compared to the Van Ness scoop).

Love the scoop part but the rest (handle) needs a redesign

The handle is too short, you are put your hand inches away from the litter. Not everyone can bend over repeatedly during the day. For me, it gives me increased back

The handle is too short, you are put your hand inches away from the litter. Not everyone can bend over repeatedly during the day. For me, it gives me increased back pain & spasms and is not worth using it because then it’s too much to behind over. The base is a nice idea but that too needs a redesign. It falls over easily and frequently. There is not enough weight to balance it and ground it. An appropriate metal holder would be a plus, not using plastic a forever chemical.

The Paco & Pepper Cat Litter Scoop is modern and stylish with a comfortable handle. We use clay clumping litter and this scoop makes cleaning the litter box quick and simple with the larger sifting slots and sharp angle. However, we are used to scoops with narrow sifting slots to get clumps of all sizes, so the wide slots on this scoop are not the best at getting the most complete clean every time. Additionally, the scoop is advertised as sturdy steel, however, it feels very lightweight and as if it will bend or break easily, and the sides are sharp and may scratch the litter box. The base is really nice as it comes apart for an easy clean up. Overall, I would recommend this litter scoop and think it may work best for households with less litter box traffic.

Great scooper. I have a multi cat household so a good scooper is a must. This scooper nice and surprisingly large with a deep well that allows you to scoop very large clumps without any issues. The wooden handle is sturdy and its size allows you to get a good grip. The stand is a little flimsy, but I do like that it opens on the bottom for easy cleaning. Would definitely recommend.
