Are the slots wide enough for pine pellet litter to go through?

We are unable to comment on every brand of pine litter due to a lack of specific information. However, Paco & Pepper strongly believe that the pellet litter will not be too large to pass through our scoop, as it features relatively wide slots designed for effectiveness. Additionally, Paco & Pepper have not received any complaints regarding the scoop’s narrowness.

Love the scoop part but the rest (handle) needs a redesign

The handle is too short, you are put your hand inches away from the litter. Not everyone can bend over repeatedly during the day. For me, it gives me increased back

The handle is too short, you are put your hand inches away from the litter. Not everyone can bend over repeatedly during the day. For me, it gives me increased back pain & spasms and is not worth using it because then it’s too much to behind over. The base is a nice idea but that too needs a redesign. It falls over easily and frequently. There is not enough weight to balance it and ground it. An appropriate metal holder would be a plus, not using plastic a forever chemical.

The Paco & Pepper Cat Litter Scoop is modern and stylish with a comfortable handle. We use clay clumping litter and this scoop makes cleaning the litter box quick and simple with the larger sifting slots and sharp angle. However, we are used to scoops with narrow sifting slots to get clumps of all sizes, so the wide slots on this scoop are not the best at getting the most complete clean every time. Additionally, the scoop is advertised as sturdy steel, however, it feels very lightweight and as if it will bend or break easily, and the sides are sharp and may scratch the litter box. The base is really nice as it comes apart for an easy clean up. Overall, I would recommend this litter scoop and think it may work best for households with less litter box traffic.

The wooden handle is sturdy and its size allows you to get a good grip. The stand is a little flimsy, but I do like that it opens on the bottom for easy cleaning. Would definitely recommend.

I have two large cats so a litter scoop has to be sturdy. The Paco & Pepper litter scoop is sturdy and able to handle my cat’s waste. It has an average length wood handle that is comfortable to grip. The scoop holder is perfect fit. In my opinion the gaps in the sifter are slightly too wide. It allows the smaller particles to fall through. My personal preference is a long handled scoop so it would be great if Paco & Pepper Scoop had choice of handle length.

I have a lot of cats and thus a lot of litter boxes. I go through litter scoops pretty regularly, but these metal ones tend to be my favorites. I have a very similar one that I love, but the handle on that one is metal and I don't like how it feels in my hand. This scoop has a nice wooden handle that I can hold much easier. The size is great, you can clean a giant box in no time. The only thing I don't like is how much space is between the metal slots. I wish they were closer together because anything that is not firmly clumped does slide out, which is annoying. It otherwise works great. I do have different litters and this works with most, but not with pellets. The slots are too wide to hold the pellets.

I used the scoop in my home with my three litter boxes which used two different types of litter; slide and a traditional clumping litter. The handle and scoop are sturdy and comfortable to use. It does a good job of removing clumps and solid waste. I did find that some smaller clumps or pieces fell through the scoop. However it still does a good job. I also like having a dedicated scoop holder that keeps any stuck on litter contained and the scoop ready to go.

I like the sturdiness of the metal scoop, but the long holes between the metal bars lets small clumps of urine soaked litter and poop fall through. Overall I feel it works pretty well, but it does have some fall through. I do like that the metal is easy to clean and the long gaps get a lot less stuck them. I really like the scoop holder it comes with as it actually has a bottom to catch any loose litter. I would recommend this product if your cat doesn’t have really small poos.

I am quite pleased with the functionality of this scoop. Easy to use and less messy than other scoops. My wife likes it as well, but still uses our other scoop to get the smaller pieces. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I am unsure of the longevity of it, as it feels somewhat flimsy where the metal is attached to the wood handle. Overall it works well and we are happy with it!
