I had a different brand, but I had to get a new one, and I went for this one instead, I instantly knew this one is 10x better. Has 2 power modes, both work amazing,

I had a different brand, but I had to get a new one, and I went for this one instead, I instantly knew this one is 10x better. Has 2 power modes, both work amazing, the light helps so much and makes the process significantly faster. It is a little louder than my last one but not by a lot, and my dog isnt bothered by it.

The Patpet is the right tool for giving your doggie a nail trim. It is easy to hold and quiet. My RaFiKi will tolerate this nail grinder a lot longer than the dremel that I was using. Just be sure to place the grinder part against the nail and do not let the top of the grinder rub on you pet's paw. (The top is open). I am very happy with this device.

Had to use firm pressure gets hot quickly

I found that I had to use more pressure for the drill head to actually file down the nail. Also, by the third foot the head got too hot too touch and had to let

Was surprised I couldn’t even get one dog filed before it got too hot to continue. Disappointed that it got so hot at the drill head so fast.

The light is a great feature!

We've used Dremel tools with sanding drums for years on our dogs nails but one of our new dogs was scared of the noise. We bought this one and several others and

We've used Dremel tools with sanding drums for years on our dogs nails but one of our new dogs was scared of the noise. We bought this one and several others and this was the quietest. She is still scared of this, but we started using it on our other dog since the battery on the Dremel was starting to lose life This works much better than the Dremel but still has a few quirks. First, the light helps immensely with seeing the quick in the nail. This was a fantastic hidden feature! The burr in the tool works very well. We were concerned since it doesn't appear as aggressive as the coarse Dremel drums, but it works much quicker. It grinds very well, but due to the cover, it takes a couple of different angles to prevent having a concave end on the nail. Our dogs are both mid sized pit mixes so their nails are larger and this would be as noticeable on a smaller nail. Finally, it's not USB-C, it is micro USB so it's another cable to maintain since nearly everything is USB-C now. Overall very pleased and would definitely buy another, especially if they add USB-C.
