Polyester success!
Not sure how this works but I think Polyester lining insulated the air under the doggies. Its the only thing that makes sense. All six of the dogs tried it and even the husky came in from the snow and chose to lay in it. Winner winner chicken dinner. Glad I bought two
Cheap comforter
This is a very thin comforter style pad. I would not put in a crate says cannot be washed and is thin. I wanted this for my senior dog to help his joint pain, but that is not what it is.

I ORDERED SEVERAL OF THESE TO GIVE MY SENIOR CAT A COMFY PLACE TO LAY AROUND THE HOUSE. ANYTHING SELF WARMING IS A GOOD THING. THE CAT LOVES IT, AND SPENDS A LOT OF HER TIME ON THESE MATS. THEY ARE AN EXCELLENT ITEM, AND MY CAT BUDDY GIVES IT FIVE STARS INDEED. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ITEM TO OTHERS. THANKS.
Horrible Quality
Order a $9 pad and that’s what you’ll get. By far the cheapest crate pad I’ve ever seen. Almost no padding. The thinnest material you can imagine. I see any dog tearing this apart simply by laying in it. Looks like a disposable pad that would last a day.
Save your money
The cats want nothing to do with this mat. The fabric is cheap and not soft. The mat is NOT machine washable.
You get what you pay for.
Absolutely awful quality. Makes noise and the fabric "moves" which drives the dog crazy. He constantly digs at it.

Not for chewers
I always thought the reviews that say "it lasted 5 minutes" or "didn't even make it 1 day" we're just people being dramatic. But that was literally what happened with this one. Have an Am-staff Terrier / great pyrenees mix, and when placed down he immediately laid on it and chewed a hole in it. The claims that it warms a dog seem hard to believe with the amount of filling in this mat. I don't think it would do much more than cover the bottom of the crate. To be honest, had I picked this up in person and seen a $10 price tag, I would have put it down. Spend $10 on a decent fleece blanket and you'll get a better deal.
not very good
I do not like to be a bad reviewer but even with the sale price of $9.99 this was not worth my money. It is too thin and not very well manufactured. My dogs jut roll it up in a ball. Like sleeping on the floor.
