Clasp broke & seems heavy on a small kitten

While trying to put this on my 6.5 month old kitten after spaying, the drawstring clasp broke, rendering the cone useless immediately. If you have a super fluffy

While trying to put this on my 6.5 month old kitten after spaying, the drawstring clasp broke, rendering the cone useless immediately. If you have a super fluffy cat, the soft fabric on the neck piece makes the cone slippery & easy to get out of as well (this and the clasp breaking all happened within 5 minutes) The donut seemed like it was too heavy for her neck too, she could hardly pick her head up.

My little Hades had such a hard time with the cone from the vet, especially drinking water and going to the litterbox (it would drag and scoop up yucky clumps, i would then rush clean it off- a vicious cycle) and surgery suit was mpre trouble than it was worth. I wish I'd found THIS sooner!! Theyre just easier for mobility, its harder to get stuck, easier to drink and eat, and comfier for napping. I highly recommend, even if you just need to squeal about how adorable it looks on your fur bb lol

Liked more than I thought she would

She is getting used to maneuvering in it. I thought she would hate it but she’s doing pretty good in it She has an ear infection and it would start getting better

She is getting used to maneuvering in it. I thought she would hate it but she’s doing pretty good in it She has an ear infection and it would start getting better then she would scratch it and make it a mess. This seems to be stopping her from getting to it but she’s going back to the vet anyway! She’s not going to like that! :)

This collar is like a t-shirt collar in the middle and all soft. My kitty is very tiny and it did fit on her and was not too heavy. She eventually got it off by grabbing at it with her nails lol. So it does work but you may need to put it back on every so often. It nice and soft, its adjustable and maybe would do better for cats 6 pounds and up or one with a thicker neck. Its cute and did not rip even tho she used her nails to pull it off. I mean what can we expect when we put collars on cats but she had dental surgery and while I fed her it worked to keep her paws away from her face. :)

This is a great alternative to the “cone of shame” if it’s wide enough. The hole to put her head thru is easily adjusted so if I had gone up a size it would have been perfect. That said-she was much more comfortable, the furniture was more protected, and her incision healed nicely!

I got this for my 6-month old kitten who just got spayed. She was wearing a cone for a few days but was miserable. Her poor whiskers were all scrunched up against the sides of the cone. I got this as an alternative and the difference was immediate. She held her head up higher and looked more relaxed being able to see better. (Pictured is a size small)
