No. Wall plug in

Please post a pic of the underside of the lid. I have to take all parts off to clean under the plastic parts where slime was collecting & growing (& 1 cat's breat was atrocious & the other went back to tubs & sinks). It reassembled easily the first time, but the 2nd time, I think I messed up. TIA

How should the carbon filter be installed? That is, which side of the carbon filter should face the door and which side should be facing up after reassembly? TIA

What kind of filtration system is this? Is it vet grade?

The fountain. Plug in. Light to see tank. Platform to add water.

Miles is 18. Been skin and bones for years. We’ve said any day it’s going to happen for many years. He demands water from bathroom sinks. Back and forth all day. And he has to be picked up and put down each time. And you have to wait for him to be done. If you walk away you accidentally leave the water on and him stranded. It took a few days to convince him I didn’t need to pick him up constantly for running water. Now he loves it. Will be ordering a second one sometime and the filters. Thank you for giving him a chance at more time with us.

A week ago, I would have rated this water fountain more highly. The fountain itself works fine, though the motor is tricky to clean gunk out of, and the plastic components build up residue very easily. However, the place where the filter snaps on is difficult to pry it off to clean and you have to brute force it. The metal bit where it attaches is thin and sharp. While trying to get the filter case off, the metal bit ended up slicing open my finger, and I had to get six stitches. After seeing my impressive medical bill, I think I'd recommend just spending a little more in advance on a differently crafted fountain as opposed to cheaping out a little and spending thousands down the line and seeing your own bone.

Spend your money better/wisely

Purchased as it is recommended for cats to intake more water. Did its maintenance of cleaning and refilling regularly. Purchased in July 2025 and quit working not

Purchased as it is recommended for cats to intake more water. Did its maintenance of cleaning and refilling regularly. Purchased in July 2025 and quit working not sure when. Got home from work and my poor babies are thirsty. At first the package never arrived and had to contact customer service in order to receive what I had purchased. The filters-filters trash at this point. On top of that it will discontinue working, even though you do everything needed for it to run smoothly and last a few years. Just spend your money better, get a bird fountain(not here). Saw another review that could raise awareness from Alisa not too long ago “Didn't even last 4 months because of course it ran dry once. It seemed to work fine but just quit in the middle of the night. It doesn't have a reserve of water so they just had no water.” Thank you.

I'm shocked my cat likes it

My cat wasn't drinking enough water from his bowl and unfortunately, became dehydrated. The vet suggested a fountain instead but I was skeptical. Would he use it?

My cat wasn't drinking enough water from his bowl and unfortunately, became dehydrated. The vet suggested a fountain instead but I was skeptical. Would he use it? Drink even less water? Is this a waste of my money?? To my delight, he loves it!! He goes over to it like the tiny mountain lion that he is and laps it up before more adventures (e.g. napping). It was really simple to set up, clean and refill. I also like that it's pretty quiet. I'm still getting used to the occasional water sound that it makes ("Oh no... what's leaking???") but that's just me. Highly recommend!!

We specifically wanted a cat fountain with as few plastic parts as possible and we found it with the PAWSPIK cat fountain. We also like being able to see how much water is in the fountain. It took a while for our cat to get used to using a different fountain but after a little less than a week she adapted and now is happy with her new fountain.

Runs smooth and quiet. I haven't had to clean it yet so not sure what ease of cleaning is like, but it was a little tricky to figure out how to make sure the pump

I haven't had to clean it yet so not sure what ease of cleaning is like, but it was a little tricky to figure out how to make sure the pump is stuck down when it's attached to the top plate piece. Also, I wish the light could be turned off- I think it freaked my cat out quite a bit at first at night, though he does seem to have gotten over it.

Excellent fountain, but They won't drink from it.

My two cats will not drink from this fountain. I love the stainless steel and easy set up and easy to clean. But it seems the spout that comes up for water to flow

But it seems the spout that comes up for water to flow is too low for their comfort when drinking. I continue to make it available for them, just in case they decide to use it. It is a very quiet fountain.

Buyer beware and avoid

The pump looks like it is above the low water level so even though window in the side shows there is water, the pump can't quite reach it. Didn't even last 4 months

This thing is stainless steel, noise free, easy to set up, holds a TON of water. All of my cats love it! They don't play in it (thank goodness) but they are addicted

This thing is stainless steel, noise free, easy to set up, holds a TON of water. All of my cats love it! They don't play in it (thank goodness) but they are addicted to the freshness. I never had an issue with them drinking water. Not one cat. But, 7 cats go through a lot every day and I got tired of using multiple bowls throughout the house. Now, it's convenient, easy to refill and lasts for days. Just be sure to clean it every weekend and make sure you buy replacement filters!
