Is there a difference in main lead length from small to large OR is the only difference a diameter measurement of rope? Understanding that each of the two shorter lengths is 3 foot?

The difference is the diameter of the leash. The diameter of the Small leash is 0.4 inches and the diameter of the Large leash is 0.5 inches.

Makes walking the dogs fun again

Stiff and Cumbersome

Unfortunately, after trying to break this double leash in with our two pups over the past couple of weeks, we find it is as stiff and cumbersome as it was the day

Unfortunately, after trying to break this double leash in with our two pups over the past couple of weeks, we find it is as stiff and cumbersome as it was the day we received it. Also, the double part doesn’t clip off for car rides, etc . . . All-in-all this is a very awkward leash.
