When a dog pulls on this harness, where is the pressure applied? The neck? Shoulders? Chest?

This harness is designed to disperse pressure away from the neck. If a dog were to pull while wearing the harness, the pressure is on the primarily on the chest and the shoulders.

Will this harness help even out pulling pressure across the chest better than a non padded harness?

Pawtitas Reflective Padded Dog Harness are safe to be used for car rides, they need to be combined with pet seat belts.

Nice fabric, bad fit adjustments

My poodle mix dog has a thick neck and there is no neck adjustment; and the chest piece bunches up despite there being a buckle adjustment because it was sewn in

My poodle mix dog has a thick neck and there is no neck adjustment; and the chest piece bunches up despite there being a buckle adjustment because it was sewn in too high. I find my dog's front leg kicked pit of the harness entirely in no time. Nice reflective fabric, though.

Very sturdy and heavy-duty. Ideal for a dog that likes to pull.

Kevin doesn't like it. It's not Velcro, so he can't pull out of it. I love it. I'm disabled and have a hard time catching him if he gets loose.

Great product!

I originally purchased the simpler nylon reflective harness (without padding) but my puppy slipped it into his mouth and chewed through it. This harness is 'beefier'

I originally purchased the simpler nylon reflective harness (without padding) but my puppy slipped it into his mouth and chewed through it. This harness is 'beefier' than the original plain Pawtitas one that I purchased and has worked much better all-around! If you're debating between Pawtitas harnesses, I'd definitely spend a little more for this thicker, padded harness. My puppy seems more comfortable in this one and hasn't managed to work his way out of this one. Extremely easy to use for midnight potty trips. Very well made and looks and wears great. I will definitely consider purchasing this again as my boy grows bigger!

I really wanted to love this harness. I have a chunky little 8 lb russet potato shaped chi and was looking for wider straps than the one she’s been wearing (made by the same company). According to the measurement chart, she’s an XS. However, the chest isn’t adjustable so it hangs loose. The body strap is fine and the neck is ok. Not sure an XXS is the answer. Hoping I can exchange it.
