Only lasted a week for us...
I liked this harness--lightweight, cute color, a little unwieldy to get on our pup when she was feeling extra wiggly but otherwise okay. Unfortunately, the size and texture of the straps were irresistible to her and our 6lbs chihuahua mix managed to chew through it in all of a week. She's a moderate chewer but this is the only "toy" I've seen her annihilate with such fervor. Don't ask me how, but it was fairly easy for her to twist her neck and hook her jaw under the front of the strap even while it was fully clipped on and tightened. This might work for a pup that's out of her teething phase but for now we'll need something much more secure.
Picture makes them look nicer than they are
They are adjustable but for my littlest two, it ends up the straps are very bulky. It also doesnt hold its shape well either, so feet end up in all the wrong places. Wish I hadn’t ordered these. I don’t recommend.
Nice harnesss
This was easy to adjust and put on our 20 lb dog. It did loosen up a little but was easy to readjust. The color and reflection is nice too.
Doesn't Stay Put
I bought this harness in red for the Christmas season. I had an extra small, which was perfect, but my puppy is growing and needed one size larger. She is still on the small size (15lb) so I need to tightened the belly part of the harness just passed the center. I am noticing the harness becomes loose on her at times while walking and i need to stop and move the clasp back to where it should be. It gets me concerned because she managed to get out of the smaller harness because I didn't have it tight enough. I make sure the current harness is correct before each walk but I know I should not need to do that.
Perfect for all dogs
This harness is perfect! My pup is very comfortable with it and it’s easy to put on.
Perfect fit
I ordered the small for my toy poodle thinking I could adjust to the smallest size when she wasn’t wearing a winter jacket and enlarge when she was. But it was too big with no jacket underneath. I spoke to a chewy rep and explained I needed to exchange for the extra small. Very nicely they explained they would send me the size I needed and to bring the other to be donated to a shelter. How very nice of them. I will continue to order from chewy and recommend to everyone!!
two days in and it ripped
We bought two of these halters and the leash that matches and they arrived yesterday and they’re ripped today. I’m so upset :( our dog could have gotten loose and we’re still training her in “come” so it could have been a disaster
3rd time purchasing
I’ve bought these harnesses in multiple different colors. The clip isn’t too hard to undo unlike some other brands I’ve gone with in the past. Will continue to buy these in the future!
Fits great!
Really like the fit of this harness. It’s adjustable in all the areas it needs to be to fit properly. And once it’s adjusted to fit, it’s easy to use. We also purchased the matching collar and leash so our senior baby is now very stylish!
Beautiful, Functional and Fits Well!
This has been an easy harness to utilize for our Bichon Frise. I had thought the "peace logo" on the side was a little funny looking, BUT--it is the ANCHOR point for her LEFT shoulder. I always close it up, so I know the parts won't twist and get tangled--and then I just look for the logo and my dog's left side as she is guided to step into it. Fits her GREAT--and is a lovely purple with the reflective feature (though we aren't walking so much in the dark). VERY pleased!
