Let's Measure!

For the best fit, match the below dimensions to your pet's measurements as closely as possible. If your pet falls somewhere between two sizes, we advise ordering the larger of the two.

  • Paw Width: While your pet's paw is still on the ground, measure from side to side at the widest point of your pet's paw, which is usually near the base of the toes.

  • Paw Length: With your pet's paw on the ground, measure from the tip of the claws (those have to fit inside the shoe too) to the back of where the paw touches the ground, which is just behind the pad.

  • Great boots for the reluctant dog

    By on

My dog hates having anything on his paws. I have tried many types of boots & balms to keep his paws dry & salt-free in the winter. All were epic fails. He wouldn't put his paws down or he would refuse to walk. He doesn't seem to mind these... they are lightweight & durable & he can't kick them off. I think they are great!

  • Good product

    By on

I have purchased dog boots in the past that didn't stay on. These stay on perfectly. My dog didn't seem to mind them whereas the Velcro ones she hated. They are simple and easy. I'm not sure if the size I purchased is too small because they are difficult to put on, but it becomes easier the more I do it. Overall it is a good product and keeps my dogs paws clean and dry.

  • Can work (with modification)

    By on

Bought Pawz boots one size larger than what paw measured, and experienced great difficulty trying to put them on. Cut off the extreme top of the balloon and was able to pull the boot over the paw (still difficult). The boots stayed on and kept paws clean and dry.

  • The very best for my dog of any type dog boot

    By on

I have purchased every style of dog boots available, every kind for all over the world. All of them, regardless of cost or uniqueness, are difficult to put on and come off during play in snow, too easily. I nearly gave up, until I saw these balloon tops, which just seemed to make sense. They are, by far, the easiest to put on - - you have to stretch them with your hand and little warm air. but they pop on and the best part is that they stay on. I read other reviews about larger dog (75 lbs) breaking the balloons with the nails....I have not experienced that yet, but they do give you several sets of 4 in each package and in my opinion, these are so much easier for the dog to walk in than a I have purchased every style of dog boots available, every kind for all over the world. I know the real use for sturdier dog boots are for walking over hazardous or very hot or extended walks in dangerously cold environment. These are like hospital booties and purchase them expecting to get few uses on them. They are not going to survive long term anyway, since the Latex breaks down over time...but, hands down, for quick trips in the snow or over painfully salted roads and walkways, there is nothing better than these PAWZ !! … more

  • Not for large dogs

    By on

Great idea! Hard to get on but ones they are on my dog, he forgot he even had them on and walked normal. Maybe good for small dog but I have a 73lb dog and every pair we have put on, he has puncured with his toenails. He was just groomed two weeks ago and his nails are not sharp. Wish product was just made with thicker material. I have tried many pairs of dog shoes and these are by far the best for him to walk in but not if I only get one use out of each pair. Too expensive to only use one time. Chewy was great to refund with no questions asked.

  • Great for tiny paws!

    By on

Finally something that works for tiny paws. I have a 4 pound yorkie that loves the great outdoors - these fit like a glove! I was concerned that they wouldn’t stay on but we went out for an hour walk...no problem! My girl is very calm when getting groomed, dressed and such ~ so I didn’t have any problem putting these on ~ but I can see how it may be difficult to put these on a more rambunctious pup.

I love these my dog loved them it was bit hard to get them on but easy to get off I have a Pomeranian and the salt from the snow was hurting his feet when I put these on there was no more problem and they stayed on I love them and I'm so happy I can bring him outside with out him hurting I got the size tiny and the fit him perfectly they have to be a little tight or they will fall off when they walk.

  • Best dog boots

    By on

I have tried many boots for snow on my Shih Tzu. These are the only ones that have worked for us. They are not that easy to get on but once they are on, they stay on and protect my dogs feet from ice and salt during snowy wintery walks. To put them on I found if you insert your thumbs and kind of roll them up, then insert the tip of the dogs foot and unroll them onto his foot, it works.

  • Very tiny for petite dogs

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

These are very small, I haven't really used them yet as it's been so cold my chihuahuas are going on puppy pads in the garage because of the cold temperatures.
