Does this fit the Catit?

These replacement filters are compatible with the Pet Fit For Life Automatic Pet Drinking Fountain and most other drinking fountains like Catit Flower Fountain, Youthink, MOSPRO and more.

Is there a hard plastic side to these? I've ordered filters that do not fit because they have a hard plastic side.

These filters feature an outer layer made from a soft cotton-fiber.

when it purifys the water does it add minerals as well?? I have to get distilled water for my male cat he gets UTI's and my vet advised the distilled with no minerals, this is why I'm asking

A cotton-fiber outer layer catches those large pieces—like hair and food—while the activated carbon helps to cleanse and purify. This filter does not add anything to the water.

Wasn’t a good fit

The filter was a bit too big for my pet bowl. Cut in half and it still didn’t nestle down into the area. Would not order again.

NOT compatible with the Flower Fountain

These filters absolutely do not fit the Catit Flower Fountain. They're much smaller than the filter tray and thus provide zero filtering. Totally useless.

Probably great for the Pet Fit For Life, but not good with other fountains.

In the item description, it says "compatible with the Filtered Water Fountain by Pet Fit for Life and most standard pet water fountains." I bought these to use with another very common pet water fountain - the Catit filter - and it didn't work at all - the hole in the middle was the right size, but the whole thing was too small to fill the space in the fountain where it's supposed to go. As a result, the water coming through the fountain doesn't actually go through the filter. It's probably a great filter for the Pet Fit For Life, but if you're going to advertise that it fits other standard fountains, then make sure it actually does.

Doesn't fit my water fountain

I ordered these filters as they were recommended for my cats' water fountain. They look the same as the original, but they are slightly larger than the white plastic

I ordered these filters as they were recommended for my cats' water fountain. They look the same as the original, but they are slightly larger than the white plastic liner the filter sits in. Consequently, the metal bowl is skewed and doesn't collect water as well as it should. I guess my advice is to ignore the "Customers also buy" and "fits most fountains" on this one.
