Help your pal get fishy with it and maintain optimal skin, coat, joint and heart health with the Pet MD Omega-3 Fish Oil Softgel Dog Supplement. Because many common health conditions are caused by inflammation, the advanced veterinary formula combines the anti-inflammatory power of two types of omega 3 fatty acids, EPA and DHA, to quell inflammation from nose to tail. This translates into many doggie health benefits for your pup like helping to maintain a healthy immune system, supporting a shiny, flake-free and allergy-free coat, springy joints and strong bones, as well as a healthy heart and brain. Best of all, the omega 3 fatty acids found in these softgels are sourced from cold-water fish like wild anchovies and sardines, plus, they’re veterinarian recommended for all dog breeds, ages, and activity levels. Thanks to its natural fish taste that most dogs enjoy, the capsules can be given on their own, or punctured and mixed into food.

Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

I like these gel caps for a few reasons. They are tell you what fish it is made from, which is anchovies and sardines, so lower in the food chain and lower contaminants. They have more EPA than DHA. Plus, the gel caps are more convenient than liquid oil...I generally switch between the two. I don't give the full amount recommended because my girl has a sensitive stomach.
My dogs will eat these capsules, but I do use a pin to poke a little hole in them. For my old girl, I give it a little squeeze as she has a hard time chewing. I would imagine it's doing the job it's supposed to, but since my dogs are very healthy and have good skin and coats, eyes, etc already, I really can't tell if this is making any difference.
Cheer is always wonderful I will always continue to use chewy they have the best products with the best quality besides the prices going up but chewy is all I use to get my things that my pets need CHEWY!!!!!!
Milo my 7 year old border collie has become a pup again after only a month. They are the first thing he eats out of his food. I was surprised because other vitamins that said they were treat flavors he wouldn't eat. These are a gel tablet and he gobbles them down. Go figure. I would recommend so far. If Milo is happy I am too.
Our dog Murphy suffers from dry skin in the winter and at times his black coat appears almost grey or whitish from the dry skin. A partially torn CCL prevents us from bathing him at this time so we tried the Omega-3 Fish Oil to see if it would help. His fur is looking much better and appears to be more lustrous. I highly recommend these.
I began using this product after seeing that a vet friend adds it to his show dogs’ daily diet. My border/heeler eats it along with her morning kibble without hesitation. Her coat is noticeably shinier and healthier looking and she seems to scratch a lot less.
Our vet recommended we start our golden puppy on omega 3 supplements for her joint health. Side effect- she has the silkiest, softest coat I have ever felt. It shines in the sun. It doesn’t get tangled. I just drop them whole in her bowl of food and she gobbled them up without complaint.
I was trying to put it in something so she would eat it found out she would eat them without putting them in anything!
I was looking for a supplement to help with my boy's dry skin during allergy season. Even my dog has to bite down pretty hard to split these things open for the oil to come out, but he has always eaten pills like it's just another treat so we have no problem with that. Would only recommend for large/extra large (80+ pound) dogs, for the size of the pill and how hard it is.
I was disappointed in these "softgels" which were not very soft. They are very hard to break open and my large dog won't eat them whole. The Sniptips were much better and softer.
