    Disappointed

    By on

The product description indicates that this hammock will hold animals up to 22 pounds and I read in the Q & A that it is 6-8 inches off the ground. Not so. My cat weighs 10 pounds and this thing is wayyyy too small for her. The middle of the hammock only sits 3-4 inches above the ground and that is before the cat tries it. Both my cat and I are extremely disappointed.

    Sharp edges

    By on

This hammock stand was easy to put together but the edges were sharp. Had to use sandpaper to wear it down. This is for ferrets and I am adapting the hammocks so the loops are safer. Don’t want anyone getting tangled in them! Nice size for two ferrets. Seems sturdy so far.

    Swinging Bed

    By on

Small in size, this is more for a kitten than a cat. NickyRay would hang off the hammock.

    Overall pretty great

I put this hammock together, then made a 'summer' hammock out of an old lightweight throw rug since the hammock it comes w is stricly 'winter'. We've two large male (neutered) kitties outdoors, and I wanted it for them to have as a way of beating some of our Texas Summer heat! Spacky loves it, but he did knock the entire unit over getting out of it lately. After using it for only a week or so, I'm figuring out how to make it more stable so that doesn't happen again. Tho he's only knocked it over once, if that happens very much, he'll stop using it, right?! Maybe Pet Parade could make the base footongs longer for more stability? I think I'll maybe rig up a hook and bungee to keep this from happening I put this hammock together, then made a 'summer' hammock out of an old lightweight throw rug since the hammock it comes w is stricly 'winter'. They each should have their own, after all. I really think it's a great product. … more

    Not Sturdy

    By on

When I put it together- the bolts stuck through to the other side and is not very sturdy at all. Also, the hammock itself seems much larger online. I’m very disappointed.

    Way to small

    By on

This is very small and unbalanced. Would be very hard for any cat to get into.

    Shelter Cats Love It

    By on

We had one donated to our shelter this afternoon. Within minutes of putting it in our community cat room, Gilbert Grape here took right to it and refused to share. He said to it deserves 5 stars!

    Not sturdy

    By on

I bought this for my daughter who has two normal sized cats and it is not sturdy or big enough to hold them comfortably. It’s cute but the cats aren’t impressed
