Is it really waterproof? Like fully waterproof?

The Pawtect Waterproof Blankets are made up of specifically created faux fur fabric and a proprietary Sherpup multi-layer material. Sherpup is not only the coziest fabric around, but also creates an impermeable barrier between both exterior fabrics so that no moisture can seep through the either side of the blanket.

Is this blanket machine washable?

This blanket is machine washable. Insert laundry detergent. Wash on regular cycle with warm water. Dry on medium heat. Bleach and fabric softener should not be used as other washing methods may mess with the pad's absorbency

We recommend avoiding bleach and fabric softener to increase the longevity and effectiveness of their Pawtect® technology, however their Pawtect® Blankets can be laundered regularly without fear.

Durable and snuggly

I purchased two of these for my dogs just to have a really durable blanket to take on trips and use at home to cover the dog beds. They're really fluffy and cuddly

I purchased two of these for my dogs just to have a really durable blanket to take on trips and use at home to cover the dog beds. They're really fluffy and cuddly on both sides my dogs instantly loved them. I've washed them once and they held up well. I think the size is great for my usage, it's easy to pack and travel with and at home it covers up a small dog bed. If you have beds with no removable covers, these are a great way to protect them. While I haven't needed it for it's waterproof purposes, I think it'll be a good blanket for them to age with and would provide comfort and cleanliness in the future when they get old. I might get more of these as gifts for other pet people. My dogs are both small, 17 and 8lbs, any larger and I recommend going a size up. They do seem really durable, there is a slight crinkly sound to them but it's really not noticable.

I’ve fostered for years and currently have 13 adult cats in all stages of life. I have a very sick cat “Mickey” who I’m just making comfortable until his time. I originally purchased 4 and quickly discovered that everyone liked them. I ordered 4 more. These are perfect for draping on the back of chairs, couches, and in their cat trees for wonderful warmth and comfort. Mickey has his spot and loves his blanket. When one gets soiled, I have a “spare” ready for him. They easily wash. I’ve had all different brands and sizes and I truly love these the best. And my 13 cats feel the same way. I’m ready to purchase at least 4 more. Very pleased with this purchase.

Our nervous new rescue went through a phase where he’d pee on his bed when we had to leash him to guide him outside. The liner is excellent and the fuzzy layer does absorb so it’s not messy to pick up. It washes and dries great! We wash with Oxi and OdoBan and no urine smell. A lot of similar blankets say no dryer but you can with this one on low/no heat, which saves a ton of time when you need a quick turnaround. We got 2 and I think we’ve washed them 2-dozen times each and they still work perfectly!

I’m buying two more....one for the sofa and one for my mom’s older dog. The waterproof liner will be a big help since she’s already ruined two beds. Highly recommend.

This dog water proof blanket is high quality, vey soft, but extremely tough! My puppy chews and tugs on it daily and it still looks new after several weeks of abuse!
