Dogs can nudge, roll, and chase the ball to try to release the tasty bites inside.

Unfortunately, this ball does not seem to be constructed well. For some reason, the top half of the ball is split into two pieces instead of just being one-half, but the connector parts for them are very unsturdy. The ball split apart literally 3 seconds after putting it on the floor for my dog...she barely touched it. That's the most important one, since it's a safety issue and a dog could try to eat the smaller pieces or choke on them. Some additional issues: - I had a really difficult time opening the ball for the first time. It was screwed on so tightly, I really almost thought I wasn't going to be able to open it. - The instructions on the package are for a toy with a completely different interior mechanism. None of the directions applied to this toy at all, and I was unsure how to adjust the difficulty of the toy. I also bought the Frisco Treat Dispensing Ball Dog Toy in the same order, and it's a much better option if you're looking for something similar to this but are put off by the reviews of this product. I absolutely do not recommend the Pet Zone IQ Treat Dispenser Ball Dog Toy.

Tried everything to get this ball unscrewed and could not. The customer service person I communicated with must have had different instructions because she kept arguing with me, telling me to “remove the cap and fill”. I couldn’t convince her there was no cap. Only bad experience I’ve ever had with Chewy. I started a new chat with a different agent and he immediately refunded my money.

Not very sturdy. Only for maybe small dogs

At first. I couldn't even get the ball opened. I didn't understand how to choose the hole size based on the instructions. Then once I gave to my dogs it broke along the seam within 20 minutes. I'm not 100% sure how it happened but possibly from my doberman, which she could easily fit this ball in her mouth. Ultimately I suggest only buying for small dogs and on carpet. Luckily Chewy offered a refund and it was a super easy process.

Another one bits the dust.

Piper LOVED the dispenser, but too much. Our little pup is quite the aggressive chewer. She bit through the outer covering, cracked and nearly swallowed the pieces

Piper LOVED the dispenser, but too much. Our little pup is quite the aggressive chewer. She bit through the outer covering, cracked and nearly swallowed the pieces. We are not as fast as she is when pieces are in her mouth. I tossed it as it was a hazard to her little tummy and anxiety provoking for me.

The time my pup finish his meal using this ball

I bought this ball so I can back up meal preps to give my pup throughout the day. It took him 37 minutes. He didn’t fully complete it because there were 5 or 6 left

I bought this ball so I can back up meal preps to give my pup throughout the day. It took him 37 minutes. He didn’t fully complete it because there were 5 or 6 left & I just took it out and dumped it on the ground for him. I was estimating 30 mins because I go to work so I need him done before to put the ball away so I don’t come home to it destroyed. He did get a bit frustrated at the end giving me side eyes and trying to bite the ball and I told him ahh ahhh no! So he continue to roll it. Very good for slow eating for any dog. Takes a lot of time though that’s why I give it 4 stars. Plus you can’t leave this maze ball alone with any pet they will destroy it if you’re not looking. The two pieces on top of the ball come apart & it won’t stick back correctly. It’s loose and I thought, “what a waste of 16 dollars” but I had duct tape it and made it work. I took one of the star plates off at the end. Don’t know if that made it a little bit easier, but you can always take those plates out to make it easier according to the instructions.

Works as it should

The only negative thing I can say is, for a person with arthritis, it's really hard to open, but my grandchildren have no problem. It has a variable size food slot

The only negative thing I can say is, for a person with arthritis, it's really hard to open, but my grandchildren have no problem. It has a variable size food slot that you can adjust either for size of kibble or ease of getting it out. My dog had zero problem figuring out how it works and it extends feeding time by a lot.

Wasn't for my baby

I could only fit a tiny bit in the bottom part and when I twisted on the top it broke in half. It did twist on but only if it lined up with the bottom part. Do

Took our dogs months to figure it out.

Not sure if it says something about the dogs lol. Was on the verge of donating this toy but noticed that one of the dogs had figured it out. Now it's great, but

My rabbits love them

I took the plastic disks out and put pellets in them. It gives the rabbits a game to play rolling them around and they can't overindulge on the pellets.
