Before use make a hole in the nipple using one of the following methods: Cross cut nipple with a razor blade. Using a strong needle or cuticle scissors, enter and exit the tip of the nipple as though you were making a very small stitch or snip, pull the needle out removing a small piece of the nipple. Check flow with water. A steady drip or thin stream should be achieved when a slight pressure is applied to the nipple. If one or more of the animals is ill use a different bottle or feed ill animal last. Wash bottle, cap and nipple with hot soapy water and rinse thoroughly after each feeding session. If animal is too small or weak to nurse, consult your veterinarian.

Doesn't work
By rednrowdy on Dec 10, 2020
I said when I bought this that none of the nipples worked. To my surprise chewy did nothing to fix that. Whatever I paid was too much! No new baby animal coulda used those nipples. Had to use a dropper for the baby rabbit I found.

Frustrating to use.
By myaa on Aug 5, 2020
Got some emergency foster kittens, I was using a syringe for them but they definitely would be more comfortable with a nipple. I punctured it a couple times but it still didn’t flow well. Bottle leaked, and sometimes the nipple would pop off while on. Couldn’t get a good flow connecting it to the syringe either. Made feeding very frustrating, but I will continue to try it and update if it works.

Not as friendly as it could be.

Very problematic. Persian kitten, needed for suplemental feeding. Filling this bottle is very difficult! Small opening that has been changed not sure why the demo video shows the newer version or why this model was still sold. Next we’re the nips.... lots of problems. Leakage all around the ‘seal’ of the nipple under the cap. And threads of lid slipped and leak too. Disappointed, very difficult for milk to flow took a huge amount of suckling will very little result. Thought maybe even the one was supposed to be used to seal the bottle. Kitten had a hard time holding onto it. Finally, IMPOSSIBLE to clean. They sent a brush, knowing it’s hard to cleanse. Will try work with what it is for now. Very problematic. Used Several Times

I have raised several litters of kittens that lost their mama. PetAg has been my go to for the feeding supplies. These bottle kits have been a lifesaver.

Good for kits
By Katie on May 20, 2020
As a rabbit breeder, I find this to be a necessity. Every now and then I will need to use this to feed kits that the mother will not feed. A lot of first time mommas do not understand how feeding works, and if I do not have another doe that is lactating this works great for me to hand feed them. I prefer this method rather than flipping the mother on her back because it is too stressful for the mom and I found that she will try to kick them off of her. But when using you need to cut a hole on the tip of the nipple so milk can come out.

A lifesaver for orphans
By Kittymom on Jun 12, 2020
When our mother cat was killed she left 2 little week old kittens. The PetAg Nursing Kit saved the day. The only thing I would change about the kit would be to add another thin nipple as opposed to so many short fat ones. They are a little stiff for the very young. Great product!

Have used for years
By Jenny on May 4, 2020
This is my “go to” for kittens and small animal nursers. The nipple options are nice for other babies too. Not for raccoon babies. Nipples are to small but for kittens, I have used for years. I get one new kit for each rescue and keep several bottles on hand. Extra nipples can be purchased as well. Pet AG makes a very nice KMR formula as well. Easy to find individual bottles in most of my local grocery stores and farm supply companies.

Good purchase
By Mommie2blueeyes on Jun 11, 2020
We use these for bottle kittens and overall I love the size and design. Only problem I have is the cleaning, I wish it was a little easier. The kittens do not seem to like these nipples, but we switch them out for miracle nipples.

Worth buying!

This nursing kit is awesome. We've had some picky kittens and having the option to use different nipples was a life saver!! It comes with a cleaning brush too, which is a plus.
