PETIPET Wildberry Bites Soft & Chewy Dog Treats, 5-oz bag

My chi mix has always been a picky boy, and being diagnosed with IBD + pancreatitis has severely limited what I have to work with. He takes several pills every day now, and I was really struggling to get them in consistently. We are both SO happy I found these! I tear off small pieces and wrap them around each of his pills and Sam takes all of them - I don’t even have to wash my hands to remove the scent of medicine, he’ll still lick my fingers if anything is left behind. His doc says the little bit of flaxseed coating isn’t a problem as long as Sam isn’t allergic/sensitive to any of the ingredients. So far, so good! I am glad I ordered these despite reading a review where someone said these don’t work for hiding pills. Don’t try to shove the pill inside the gummy, just tear off small pieces and wrap. I also wouldn’t give Sam a whole gummy. They are likely too dense for that anyway, but definitely too big for my little pup. And if picky Sam ever decides he’s over the apples & carrots flavor, the brand has other options to try!

I bought them to use as pill pockets but they aren’t as easy to use as the Strawberry Banana ones which are softer. But my dog loves both flavors.

These treats are a really nice size for any dog, and a really good texture for breaking into smaller pieces for little dogs and puppies. They don't seem to dry out terribly fast either. I like the ingredients and would give them five stars if my dogs liked them a bit more than they do. They'll eat them, but not very enthusiastically.
