I measured my Golden's chest height and it is 15 inches. Would this bowl height be the right one for her?

To determine the correct height for a dog food bowl, measure your standing dog from the floor beneath the front paws up to the top of the shoulders and then subtract approximately 6 inches. Dogs should be able to eat without lowering their necks or stretching them upwards. The top of a dog food bowl at the correct height should sit level with the dog’s lower chest. This feeder measures 28.3 inches long, 13.6 inches wide and 14.5 inches tall.

The XL size said it holds 12 cups. Is it 12 cups for each bowl?

does it make a lot of clanking noise? My dog's current elevated bowls are stainless steel and the frame is metal, making it clank every time she eats and drinks, and the noise spooks her easily.

The stand is made of hard plastic so there will not be a clanking noise.

Can the stand be disassembled, legs removed, to allow for storage in a car on trips?

This feeder is one piece and the legs cannot be removed, but the stainless steel bowls are removable.

My dog is 11 and has minimal use of hind legs. This bowl allows him to stand and eat rather than trying to manipulate his hind legs to bend down to a bowl. VERY

Flimsy

This item is made of extremely flimsy plastic. I have one of another brand that is wonderful and tough, so I hoped this one would match. But it will bend and flex

This item is made of extremely flimsy plastic. I have one of another brand that is wonderful and tough, so I hoped this one would match. But it will bend and flex very easily. It also is much higher than you might think. If you have a great dane, this mine be good, but a Labrador is not tall enough to eat from it comfortably. I returned it to wait for a sturdier model.

Stay a bit cleaner than the others I had.

Seems to work just fine. I don’t like how the water pools in the finger indent used to pick up the dishes out of the holder.

Constantly molding

I have two other different brand dishes and this one, is the worse by far. It is constantly getting mold around the metal dishes. I've had for several months and

I've had for several months and it's the dame thing over and over, mold around the rim of both bowls. I've never seen this happen with my other dog dishes. It's a horrible and unsafe product.
