Convenient

I wanted something easy to clean since I'm pregnant and not able to get to the litter boxes like I used to. My husband likes the easy clean up and my cats seem interested

I wanted something easy to clean since I'm pregnant and not able to get to the litter boxes like I used to. My husband likes the easy clean up and my cats seem interested in using this. At first my one cat Laddie was scared of it but she got used to it and now likes to use it. I wouldn't recommend for older cats, my cats that use it are 2 years old. The entrance is a little high for older cats. And if you have an extra large cat I would also not recommend as the space isn't that big where they use.

We have 4 cats and several litter boxes that we manually scoop several times a week. I wanted to try something like this without investing close to a grand like other brands. So far so good. It was a super easy setup. My one cat started using it immediately. The other 3 are a bit more hesitant so we shall see. It appears to be made well though and does exactly what it says it will do. No complaints.

Pleasantly surprised

I recently invested in this for our kitty after he has become quite finicky with his previous litter box setup. We had some issues where he was going potty places

I recently invested in this for our kitty after he has become quite finicky with his previous litter box setup. We had some issues where he was going potty places he should not. I was hopeful that an auto cleaning litter box would make him happy and save me the frustration of finding his “accidents”. I could not justify the price of some other more expensive options. I was thrilled to see this one reasonably priced. Our cat took to it immediately. We have had zero accidents since making the switch. It is very easy to setup and use. In my experience, the auto cleaning works great. It will do a sift right away after use to cover. Then, a few minutes later it will self clean. We have 2 dogs, and have not had issues with them getting into it. It cleans quick enough to get rid of everything (unless your dog is just sitting by there waiting for the cat to poop). I’m a very happy customer & grateful for this product. My cat is grateful too!

I am using this with a cat undergoing behavioral therapy. She was threatened by a change in her room, became very anxious. The first day It was filled with kitty litter but I waited for her to feel comfortable with it before pressing “ON”. I sat with her during the entire process a couple of times. Now she loves it. I like the ease of handling cat box chores.

leave unplugged when unsupervised

Sensors are not very sensitive if you have a curious cat it might be a disaster! I ended up turning it on manual mode, but then when the power goes off it turns

Sensors are not very sensitive if you have a curious cat it might be a disaster! I ended up turning it on manual mode, but then when the power goes off it turns on to auto so now I unplug it and run it manually twice a day! still better than scooping yourself and my cat is the opposite of apprehensive to everything about this box even as it moves she's interested and not afraid!

Will not clean

Worked one time then never again. We have tried all the troubleshooting FAQs and still will not work. Chewy offered to replace if I box up the old one and send

Worked one time then never again. We have tried all the troubleshooting FAQs and still will not work. Chewy offered to replace if I box up the old one and send it back, this is not an easy task for me so I am writing this off as a $150 loss. It's not Chewy's fault, this in not a very good product. When I went to PetPivit website none of the "contact us" links work. I can not spend anymore time on thisand will be putting this out with the trash this week.

Absolutely love this product. My new cat was able to use it easily. The wide top is great and gives a lot of space to the kitty. The best part is I never have to see poop. The waste emptying mechanism is such that the waste bag seals completely. Being first time pet owners with a busy schedule this is absolutely easy start as it holds waste for upto 10 days for a single cat

Super simple to set up. Easy to clean and refill litter. Isn’t the best at sensing when to clean. I often had to initiate or repeat the cleaning cycle. The cleaning

Super simple to set up. Easy to clean and refill litter. Isn’t the best at sensing when to clean. I often had to initiate or repeat the cleaning cycle. The cleaning cycle is pretty quiet which is great. The tray for collection I love how it is designed so the bag is flush to it compared to other automatic litter boxes. Overall, it is simple and it works as effectively as other litter robots on the market, cant say it is better, but it is at least equal in my opinion. I will say if you have dogs that like to steal things from litter boxes that they aren't supposed to, then I do not recommend this. The litter area is completely open and a clean cycle takes 10 minutes to complete. If you dont have dogs, then I would recommend :)

I ended up getting this because of all the great reviews only two of my four cats use it. The others are spooked. I set it, my cats use it and it doesn’t really work. It takes at least six cycles before it gets rid of the stuff in there and it should only do it on the first time so obviously it doesn’t work like they say it should I wouldn’t waste your money this.
