This toy may be filled with broth, wet dog food, or treats. The Chilly Penguin is not advertised to be able to hold a certain amount as the size or shape of kibble or treats can alter results.

The small toy is recommended for dogs 8-30 pounds and the medium/large is recommended for dogs 30-80 pounds.

Not for Aggressive chewers

A toy that should not be given to an aggressive chewer. My dog chewed on this after the freezer treat was added in & when she finished eating the treat, she could still taste or smell her treat on the toy, so she continued to chew at the toy. It has been chewed up on the edges and has chewed pieces off of it onto the floor, when has been removed & thrown into the trash. I couldn't give a Zero star for this, but it should be zero, not the 1 start I had to give. Do not buy this, if you have an aggressive chewer. It lay look like thick rubber but it is no Kong toy. Stick to Kong for rubber.

We do not take our dog outside long in the southern heat but he needs some physical activity daily. He might run after tennis balls for 10-15 min and is already panting. When we ask if he wants a chilly penguin, he runs to the door! We haven't tried bone broth yet but each night we fix up 2 in the freezer with filtered water and he now knows what they are called. He loves them!

Would have been 5 stars if held up better for an aggressive chewer. I put in blueberries, fill with yogurt or peanut butter and freeze. My dogs love them. It keeps them busy for about 20 minutes and is a healthy cool treat in the summer. I keep an eye my Pit that would chew up the entire thing if I let her but I will order a couple of more.

My Golden Retriever puppy destroys everything. I fill this with canned dog food and freeze it for a treat when I need to leave her. She has not ruined it and I have given it to her dozens of times. I also fill it with her dog food and a bit of peanut butter. It is amazing that it is in one piece.

our 16.5 yr old brittany is senile and feeble (he’s still very happy tho), and becoming increasingly sensitive to the heat. air conditioning, his little pool, and the penguin are keeping him going!! we fill the penguin with water and applesauce or yogurt, and it keeps him occupied and relaxed, but also cool after coming in from outside. we had to buy a second one so there’s always one ready to go for him. the big one is thick and hefty. the small one is very small, even for a small dog the big option is okay so they can’t carry it away to melt.

This Chilly Penguin is perfect for a cold treat. I have a 60lb Pit mix and I purchased the Mediium/Large size. It's perfect for her. It is heavy, not flimsy, well made, easy to fill, and clean. I add 1 tablespoon of her plain no sugar yogurt and let it freeze. She absolutely loves it. 1 bought two Chilly Penguins, just so I always have one on hand.
