Long leash
It's what I needed, since I have not use it yet I can't tell anything about durability and quality
Bought a second one!
First one was great (I keep it in my car for nature walks) so I bought a second one for our other car, so we're never without a looong leash for our busy Vizsla. There are times that off leash just isn't permissible or safe, so this long leash still gives my dog some freedom. I recommend it.
Every Day Carry
Using these on a daily basis. Lightweight, easy to manipulate, yet durable and strong enough to control an 80lb dog. We’ve been through fields, mud, thick foliage, rivers, rock formations without any structural fraying or tearing even after 6+ months of daily use. I have two extra just in case :)
good for my puppy
Although my well-meaning neighbors in our 55+ community keep insisting that I ought to get a retractable leash instead, this leash is proving manageable for me and helpful for my new 10-month-old rescue puppy, who loves to run in bursts. I'm finding it possible to learn how to control the leash in smaller loops--and I do find it easier to avoid tripping over my little guy with a longer leash than with the 6-foot leash, when short stops make it hard to avoid tripping over him. He loves being able to run in bursts, and I love seeing him so full of joy!
Works
Had a total knee replacement and was not able to take young dog on leash to potty. Backtied it to my deck post and he goes off the deck (less than 24”) to potty.
no padded handle
When I bought the leash I didn’t realize the handle is made of the same cotton as the leash. The instant my pup got the zoomies (he is 65 lbs but still a puppy), he tugged on the leash and I got friction burns on my hand and fingers from the cotton. I would say that just for handler safety it would be nice to have a pad on the handle itself
