This Extreme Weather Sliding Glass Pet Door™ adjusts to fit most sliding glass doors with heights from 75 7/8" - 80 11/16". The panel measures 1 ¼” at the widest point and will fit most sliding glass door tracks without issue. It may work for some vinyl slider models however, it would vary by their measurements.

Is the height adjustable at all to fit into various size sliding doors? Or is it only for doors that are 80.8 inches tall?

Solid and heavy duty dog door returned due to door height

5 stars for quality of the dog door. Everything seemed really heavy duty and it came with all the weather stripping and insulation that might keep outside temperatures

5 stars for quality of the dog door. Everything seemed really heavy duty and it came with all the weather stripping and insulation that might keep outside temperatures outside. We had to return the dog door since it was too tall for our sliding glass door. I inaccurately assumed these were a one size fits most sort of product, but learned upon attempted installation that measuring door height is essential and that this product was just half an inch too tall and would not fit our door.

Love it so far, but needs modifications.

I needed to spend about an extra $20 in door weather stripping to ensure there wouldn't be any air gaps. I also cut up a bit of the cardboard that held the spring

I needed to spend about an extra $20 in door weather stripping to ensure there wouldn't be any air gaps. I also cut up a bit of the cardboard that held the spring loaded top in place as more insulation and so it can't be easily moved. I didn't use any hardware to hold it in place, but did have to remove the door lock attached to the frame to fit it in. I did have an issue with the door jam somehow the end was smooshed, but customer service took care of it for me as I had a photo to send them. I give it 4 stars only because I had to buy extra insulation, I installed it on a 40+ day used a hair dryer to ensure that the metals I installed the insulation on were not cold. Remember tape and stuff applies best in warm weather.
