How is using PVC (vinyl) considered to be “pet safe?” Are there phthalates in this PVC?

Phthalates are used as a plastic softener. Our treat pouch is made of nylon, meaning our treat pouches would not contain any phthalates. Further, the other material in our treat pouch is polypropylene. Polypropylene is exempt from Phthalates testing by the Consumer Product Safety Commission due to the very low to none Phthalates percentages. Therefore, we do not test our treat pouches for phthalates.
I see the regular treat pouch is 7.5x6.5; what is the size of the mini pouch?

Wonderful treat pouch with durability issues

First of all, the things I love: the treat pouch is shallow enough that it's easy to get treats out, the snap closure is super nice for being able to pop it open with one hand and then get it back to a secure position by just hitting it with my elbow, and I love the variety of pockets (I usually keep an emergency poop bag in the outer pocket, most of the treats in the main pocket, and then some high value or larger treats in the small inner pocket). The belt clip is also super convenient (I've never used the band myself). On the downside, I wouldn't expect to have the pouch last longer than a couple months if you're using it regularly. I've had the springs fall off of multiple pouches which leaves it either in an always-open state or always-closed, and before that happens there's usually a period where the hinges get squeeky (I add a tiny drop of cooking oil to each at that point and it fixes things). My solution after doing one RMA and then realizing it's a common-ish issue with the pouches is to just have extras around because I like them that much.

Nice design

It holds a good amount, and when popped open easy to access. I tend to snap it shut accidently, but I think that is more me than the product. It does not just snap shut, but if hit by me, dog, or other item it will close as designed. I'm not sure what a 5 star looks like.

Mini treat bag

Terrible opening and closing need two hands to open and continuously closes by itself. Hard to train a dog hold a leash and try to open this bag at the same time while providing a reward to the dog at the correct time I would not buy this bag again

Good, but..

Well made, sturdy, good size. The open and close mechanism is easy to close but not easy or efficient to open. So either you delay giving treat while awkwardly trying to open the case, manage the leash and maintain awareness or you walk around with it open which has its own minor hazards.

Too thin and tight

This pouch lays completely flat, especially when closed with its powerful magnet. We just found it too small to hold the things we wanted to carry around--a few wet wipes, poop bags, treats, phone, ball. We love the Tuff Mutt Treat Pouch and use it every day instead.

It is an okay treat pouch

This treat pouch works and seems rather sturdy so that is good. I do wish it was a bit roomier and did not require so much effort to open. Because it is hinged and the hinges are fairly tight it does require two hands or one stronger hand and lots of will. Overall, I do like the treat pouch, but out of the two different pouches I have, I prefer my other.

Good Pouch, but spring broke and hinge pins fell out in first year

Pouch started out good, stayed closed well due to strong spring clip. Used for about a year, then spring broke, so it wouldn't stay closed and spilled treats when I bent down to reward the dog. Then the hinge pins fell out on both ends, so its basically useless now. If you don't mind buying a new one every year when the moving parts break/fall out, then this pouch will work for you. I'm searching for something better now.

Broke after 2 months

This pouch was difficult to open at first. After 2 months the hinge broke and I found a small metal piece in with my treats. Now it won’t stay open or close all the way.
