Is the position of the leash on the belt adjustable? In other words, does it slide on the waist belt to allow the dog to move a bit?

Both the belt and leash are adjustable. The belt can fit a waist girth between 31 – 53 inches and the leash length can be adjusted between 31 – 54 inches.

Does the D ring float or is it fixed?

The D-ring on this leash is sewn into place, so it is fixed and does not float.

what is a fuzzy belt hook. Doesn’t sound secure

Velcro had no chance against pitty puller

This is a very good value for money hands free leash. Unfortunately, my foster is a huge lunger and puller and the Velcro stood no chance. I always double leash

The loop around your waist/hips is perfect but the actual lead is a bit short. You can just add your own lead so not really a problem

This makes walking so enjoyable now. With my hands free I can finally get a good walk or jog in using both arms simultaneously, no more still shoulder or neck when I'm done. The leash is easy to grab if my dog needs guidance and adjusts easily for length. (It would be nice if it came in an option for a thinner leash for lighter weight for smaller dogs though but it works for my 10lb Havanese.) The belt is comfortable and easily adjustable from 30-58". The reviews that say it will not adjust to small or large waist sizes apparently missed that both belt sections adjust.
