How long do the batteries last? Is there a way to plug it in?

This barrier requires 4 alkaline D batteries that are not included with the product. The life of the battery depends on the brand to purchase.

This system is compatible with the PetSafe Extra Boundary Wire for Containment System. The In-Ground Boundary Wire comes with 500 ft. / 150 meters of 20 gauge, solid core, copper wire rated for direct burial. This covers up to 1/3 acre per spool. The length of wire needed will vary due to the amount of twisted wire and the layout you select. A waterproof connection is needed for proper performance when adding boundary wire.

The range was only 3'

This did not work for my 11' driveway. I purchased the collar and one barrier from another source. I had to return it because the collar could not receive a signal

This was my last resort for my GSD that loves to dig. Ive tried everything with her but nothing seemed to work. She will only dig if she knows no one is home and I didnt want to leave her crated. She went up to this rock ONE TIME and now avoids it at all costs! I put it in her favorite digging spot which unfortunately is where our home internet cable is buried outside... she completely avoids that back area now. I am so glad I ended up finding this. Knock on wood, this hasnt made her find a new spot to dig... so far she has completely stopped digging all together. I bought two for her 2 digging spots and no new spots.

Perfect! immediately did the job

We have the full system around our yard. We selected the system so we could add on other areas later as needed. Just put in new garden bed out front and when the

We have the full system around our yard. We selected the system so we could add on other areas later as needed. Just put in new garden bed out front and when the top soil went in we couldt keep our diggers from playing in it. Couldn’t order this item fast enough. We had extra wire from our system and we ran a perimeter all the way around. Put the flags in (although that wasn’t even necessary). The dogs heard the warning beep one time DONE haven’t stepped foot near the area. After a few days they now go on the nearby walkway because the figured out that area is safe. Does exactly what it is designed to do! Love it
