Will the tag work with the door if the tag is on a harness on back? Does it have to be on the front of the neck/chest to work?

The fobs send a radio frequency signal to the door when the pets are within a certain distance, it is recommended that these be worn around the neck, so there is not a delay in the door’s flap release.

Will the small tag work with the medium door?

Breaks off easily

The ring that it comes on is very weak and will break off easily. mine lasted a week. i would recommend replacing the ring with something stronger as soon as you

This is for the Smart iPhone app door and not the regular electronic door. It isn't very clear since Chewy only sells this one. It took me a bit of research to find the tag I need (elsewhere), since I have two dogs, and now I am not able to return the unneeded tag.

Easily lost

It is good when it stays on the collar. The rings that come with the tag are easily bent and come off the collars. Very ineffective. Maybe lasted a week. I bought

It is good when it stays on the collar. The rings that come with the tag are easily bent and come off the collars. Very ineffective. Maybe lasted a week. I bought key rings to try to see if those wouldn’t bend, but the tags come off those eventually. But, the tags work when they are on the collar. If they stay on the rings/collars, they would be so much better.
