Where Fun Meets Functional
Petstages' dog toys are all about having fun, but they're also made to address your pup's most primal needs. Their innovative chew toys satisfy that intense urge to gnaw, and behind the scenes, they're also helping to keep his teeth clean or keeping him cool and collected while you're away. Just like their name says, Petstages makes toys for every stage of development to keep him fit, entertained and engaged from puppyhood to his senior days.

Made for Power Chewers
Whether it's an intense game of fetch or a quiet chewing session to wind down before bedtime, Petstages chew toys have it covered. The ORKA Tennis Ball has unique ridges that give your dog's teeth and gums a workout, and it's durable enough for stronger jaws. He'll be panting with anticipation for you to throw this bouncy ball as soon as you pull it out of the toy bin. For more traditional types, the Dogwood Stick combines real wood—complete with a natural woodsy smell—and non-toxic material that makes it safer to retrieve than the average stick.
Soothing Relief in a Dental Chew
Got puppy teething problems? Petstages Cool Teething Stick and Mini Cool Chew are ice cold, but they can melt away the discomfort a puppy can feel when his new teeth are coming in. When they're frozen, they make a crunching sound that dogs love. The cotton-poly blend fabric plus the icy interior give puppies soothing relief for their tender gums. Even though they're great for growing canines, dogs of all ages find the cool crunch irresistible, and the knotted streamers and ribbons add extra chewing pleasure.

Cuddly Calming Toys
Dogs can get pretty stressed out, especially when their people leave the house. Without something to focus their attention on, they can easily work themselves into a frenzy that leaves a whirlwind of chewed-up belongings in its wake. Petstages calming toys can help keep your little bundle of nerves relaxed while he's home alone. The Puppy Cuddle Pal eases separation anxiety and wards off the doggy blues with a warm, soft toy that pups can cuddle up to. It's great for helping new puppies settle in or for seniors that tend to worry.

Husky pup loves it!
By HuskyMom on Apr 8, 2021
I bought this because my 7 month old husky just wants to eat sticks when we are hanging out outside. I thought this might be an alternative. He has a couple of heavy chewer nylabones that he likes but doesn't love - at least not as much as he loves sticks! He was excited immediately when I took it out of the package, grabbed it, and went off to chew for a while. I love that it kept him busy and he seems to really like it! He has been able to gnaw it down a bit, but the pieces that come off are very small so they should hopefully pass with no issues.

Finally a toy that isn't destroyed in 3 minutes
By Bechill on Apr 6, 2021
To say my dog is a chewer is an understatement -- she is a DESTROYER of toys. No plush toy is safe in the house.. no stick/branch is safe in the yard! Tennis balls? Bye bye - stripped of fuzz and chewed til they crack. -- when this toy came out of the box -- it was love at first site --- she just gnaws at the thing... do i think it will last forever?? No. but I think i may actually last a month(?)

Great Chew Toy
By ATurner on Mar 14, 2021
My lab, who loves tree limbs, loves this chew toy. It lasts for days and she will chew on it for hours. This is the only toy that has spiked her interest for so long. When it wears down she does push it away but it does last for a long period of time. I will be buying several of these since my other 6 fur babies love tree limbs as well. It’s less messy, lasts way longer, and I do not have to worry about an internal injury from swallowing large pieces of the limbs. I do wish they had smaller ones as this is more geared larger dogs. My 6 other babies are small so we will see how they do with it.

My dog it addicted to this.
By EvilDiesel on Mar 21, 2021
My pup gets excited for chew toys, but for this toy he goes ecstatic. He will happily trot around the house with this toy in his mouth, until he finds the perfect place to chew. He has never done this with other toys. He's a Boxer/Pit mix and normally destroys chew toys in minutes to hours, but this has held up well, and has a good price point, which makes getting him a new one once a month an easy choice to make.

My dogs LOVE these!
By Cleo on Mar 28, 2021
I was looking for a replacement to all the twigs and sticks my dogs kept dragging through the doggie door into the house, so I tried the Petstages Dogwood Tough Chew toys, and what a success! We have two Boston’s, a Shepard mix and a little Heinz 57, everyone but the Heinz 57 LOVE these chew toys....and no more sticks coming through the doggie door!

Meh. Could be ok for some but not for mine.
By Michelle on Mar 8, 2021
I have a working line VERY expensive German Shepherd bred to be a seeing eye dog. She didn't graduate from the program, so as her puppy raiser, we adopted her. But she's A LOT of dog compared to most. So I get that this could be a good chew toy for some. Just not for my Aiko. She likes to chew to destroy. It's like part of her daily routine-just as she enjoys her meals, walks, car rides and hard play with her balls (Chuck Its are DA BOMB!!) , she enjoys hard chewing. If she is feeling over excited or stressed, she shows it by chewing on whatever is nearest-be it the coffee table, a vine hanging from a tree, a stick on the ground. I buy her everything from cow hooves, to water buffalo horns I have a working line VERY expensive German Shepherd bred to be a seeing eye dog. I buy her everything from cow hooves, to water buffalo horns, to elk horns, to sanded wood, and write quite honestly, I had higher hopes for this one. Since she loves natural wood (not a sanded hunk or sanded stick), I really thought she'd attack it and give it a run for its money, but nah. She didn't care for the texture or taste. Wish she could talk. She chomped on it for a few minutes the first day it arrived, but deduced that it was no good. She then she refused it. I'm MUCH better off with Oinkies and a 3 lb box of rawhide chips. I just wish the chips Chewy sold were beef basted. But anyhow, it's personal preference, and hopefully you know what your dog likes. It can become pretty expensive with all of the trial and error. When you find something your dog loves, make sure you keep getting that for her because every dog needs outlets to remain content!! I hope I either encourage you to buy for your chewer or save your money if you're unsure about this particular item. I mean, it's wood and plastic-maybe it doesn't taste the best to the discriminating dog!? If your hard chewer isn't particular, then you'll likely be happy with this. But if you know your dog likes to HARD chew, but not on anything and everything, then maybe reconsider. That's what I can say. I decided to give it a shot, and it was a fail. Back to rawhides, which she destroys a chip in 15 minutes, but she LOVES them-how can you deny your dog their guilty pleasure?? That would be like telling me no more chocolate chip cookies, HAAA!! … more

Great distraction!!
By Brianna on Apr 4, 2021
Our dog doesn’t like to stay in one place for very long and will get in our way a lot while we’re cleaning. We bought this to hopefully give him something to do and it definitely does it’s job! It’s lasted us a very long time and I know for sure we will buy more in the future!

Great for dogs who love chewing your wood furniture
By Katie on Mar 18, 2021
My dog would constantly bite our furniture and everything she's not supposed to bite. This paired with a no chew spray has eliminated the issue. This chew toy has quickly become her favorite chew toy. And the ONLY hard chew she will use. We've tried many hard/rubber chew toys and this is the only one she will go out of her way to pick up and chew.

Best.Stick.Ever
By Klipp2 on Feb 20, 2021
My 10 month old puppy is very picky. He doesn’t like all bully sticks (weird, I know), will do anything for a treat, and sometimes prefers to sit in your lap instead of eating his meals. This “stick” is reported to be real wood, but better for dogs. First thing in the morning he starts looking for his stick. Last thing at night he hides his stick. This thing goes out with us because he holds onto it during our walks. So cute, right? It’s now added to our auto shipment because he loves it, there’s no mess, no smell, and who doesn’t want their puppy to be happy and adorable?

Disappointed in the quality
By Alice on Mar 29, 2021
The Dogwood (stick) dog toy is loved by our big aggressive chewing dog. She really likes it a lot. I'm just disappointed that I must vacuum the carpet every time she plays with it. The outside coating flakes off on the floor. Won't buy another one of these unless it's kept outside.
