Why is there 2 warnings about being hazard for animals and humans? Sounds scary
Answer by ChewyOct 30, 2017
These warnings are provided for safety precautions. This supplement hasn't been tested on pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding, so it's not recommended to administer this to them. This supplement should also be kept out of reach of children as this is intended for animal's and not human consumption.

Are the soft chews bigger than the small bites? If bigger, is the dose less? I bought the small bites by mistake, but it takes 4 for my big dog.
Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2018
These chews are larger than the small bites. The dosage would depend on your dog's weight.

Is Phycox safe for a greyhounds system? They worked wonders for our Great Dane and I hope to start giving them to our retired racer.
Answer by ChewyDec 09, 2018
Phycox is safe to use for dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Answer by ChewyNov 14, 2018

Gave Me My Puppy Back

My vet recommended Phycox to me after another joint supplement was not providing my 10 year old fur baby enough relief. My girl, a husky mix, had twisted her knee and was diagnosed with hip dysplasia on one side. She was no longer able to jump on the bed for snuggles, was not interested in playing with her sister, and sometimes had to even be carried down the stairs to the back yard. She has been on Phycox for a few months now and it is as if she is a puppy again. She is running around the house, instigating play, and enjoying her spot on the bed again. The swelling in her knees has just about disappeared!! I couldn't be more satisfied with the results.

great stuff

I got these from my vet (for less than price on here I might add) and started them about a month ago for my 16 plus 6 month old female miniature long haired doxie as prescribed by my vet 2 times per day for 3 weeks then went down to 1 a day. She showed signs of having more energy and spunk than she had for some time. They really seemed to have an impact on her, she seemed to sleep less and just acted generally like she felt better. Now that she has been down to the 1 time a day for awhile I am not so sure but we are not going to stop them that is for sure. I DO recommend these for an older dog. If you LOVE your dog as I do mine give them a try.

Big improvement

My almost 10 year old Standard Poodle has developed arthritis in her hips. She was having trouble getting up after laying down for a while. She takes 2 of these a day, one in the morning and one before bedtime. She thinks they are a treat. Now, she just pops right up after laying down for a while. Definitely it has helped.

Great recommendation

I have a 9 1/2-year Great Pyrenees who has lots of problems with his joints. My vet recommended these. Not only are they delicious for my dog (who eats them like they are candy) but they are helping with his joint pain and mobility. I love these and recommend them to everyone who has a dog with joint problems.
